White Eagles tame Lions with impressive display 04.04.10 01:30
All smiles as Daniel Severino scored the first goal against his former club in Bonnyrigg White Eagles' 4-0 romp against Bankstown City FC on Saturday evening Bonnyrigg White Eagles secured an impressive 4-0 defeat of Bankstown City in a dominant display on Saturday evening at Bonnyrigg Sports Ground. The visitors started the game on the right foot, pressuring the Bonnyrigg White Eagles defence from the first whistle.
The first chance of the match fell to Bankstown in the 5’ minute as a cheeky cross from the right by Steve Liavas allowed Tallan Martin to chest the ball back to Hussein Salameh but his soft shot didn’t test Phil Zabaks in goal.
Bonnyrigg responded with a half-chance on 10’ minutes. Good lead up play led to Nikola Zonjic crossing to find the head of David Gullo but his soft header was off target and went out for a goal kick.
The game turned into a sloppy affair with both sides testing each other physically. Bonnyrigg had a chance to take the lead in the 17’ minute but again failed. After good lead up play, Milorad Simonovic shot from 20-yards out but did not test Joseski in goal for Bankstown.
The Eagles began to show their expansive style of football in the 20’ minute, moving the ball around the pitch well and forcing the Bankstown defence onto the back foot.
In the 22’ minute, their positive football almost turned fruitful only for Zlatko Joseski to acrobatically save a Daniel Severino volley and quickly gather the ball before rolling into the back of the net.
Bankstown seemed to be panicking against a far better White Eagles side, with the defensive line kicking the ball straight into the air.
The pressure cracked the Bankstown defence in the 27’ minute as Bonnyrigg took the 1-0 lead. A great through ball from the left by 17-year old David Gullo put Daniel Severino in on goal, with the midfielder slotting the ball past Joseski to put one nail into his former team’s coffin.
Minutes later and Bankstown almost had their equaliser. A silly miss punch by Zabaks in goal saw the ball fall on the goal line only for Wade Oostendorp to clear and save the goalkeeper any embarrassment.
Bonnyrigg however were not going to let their lead slip and, instead, extended it on 36’ minutes.
A mistake in the middle by Bankstown allowed Gullo to attack Joseski. His trickling shot got past the keeper as the 2009 NSW Premier League player of the year Brad Boardman picked up the scraps and tapped the ball into the empty net for the 2-0 lead.
Bonnyrigg were not done and further extended their lead in the 40’ minute. After a great ball down the left by Michael Brown, Gullo again turned provider as his cross found Severino who headed back across goal to find the foot of Brad Boardman to score his second, and his team’s third.
Bankstown seemed to be their own worst enemy, with countless chances on goal they failed to test Zabaks who was returning after missing last week’s game.
The Eagles were not content with their 3-0 lead as they searched to embarrass the visiting side on the stroke of half-time. A great ball by Shane Webb allowed Jamie McMaster to chest down and turn but his volley just missed the crossbar to take the game to a 3-0 half-time score.
Bonnyrigg returned for the second half on the attack again, with Oostendorp hitting the crossbar from a corner in the 49’ minute, sending chills down the spines of the travelling fans.
Bankstown attempted to compose themselves but their final ball failed to trouble the home-side.
Their night almost turned even worse in the 55’ minute as Tallan Martin passed the ball directly to an unmarked Severino who turned around and found Brad Boardman, but the sharp shooter could not score his third.
Bonnyrigg thought they had won themselves a penalty in the 60’ minute as Boardman seemed to have been pulled down in the six-yard box, only for the referee to wave play on.
In the 62’ minute Almir Dizdaric was injected into the game for Bankstown in the hope for the former Bonnyrigg marksman to score while for the home side the ever impressive Gullo was replaced by former Melbourne Victory striker and latest White Eagles signing Nathan Elasi.
Their plan almost worked as two minutes later a free-kick found Dizdaric on the back post only for his volley to be easily saved by Zabaks.
Bankstown continued to try their luck to peg the score back, but could not crack the stiff Bonnyrigg defence.
On the 72’ minutes, Shannon Burgin had the ball fall to his feet in shooting range, only for the up and coming youngster to miscue his shot out for a goal kick.
Another chance fell to the visitors in the 75’ minute as a nicely struck free-kick by Suad Ameti did not curl enough to hit the target in what summed up Bankstown’s performance.
Bankstown’s efforts were cancelled in the 79’ minute as Bonnyrigg made the score 4-0.
After breaking from a corner, Elasi fed the ball to Jamie McMaster on goal, with the in-form midfielder stepping past one defender before chipping the ball over Joseski to continue the embarrassment.
3’ minutes later and Bonnyrigg almost scored their fifth as Jamie McMaster crossed the ball across goal only for Boardman to hit the ball over the crossbar from almost on the goal line.
To their credit, Bankstown did not give up trying till the final whistle as Robbie Mileski tried his luck from distance, denied only by Zabaks in goal.
Following the match, Bonnyrigg White Eagles coach Brian Brown was happy with his team’s performance but thought they should have run away with it in the second-half:
“I think in the first-half we played really well and in the end we should’ve buried a few more goals.
“Our first-half performance was as good as we have played this year. We were very impressive all over the park tonight and it is very hard to pick a man of the match.’’
Bankstown City FC player/coach Peter Tsekenis was extremely disappointed with his side’s display:
“We just made too many schoolboy errors gifting Bonnyrigg chances on goal.
“Against a quality side like Bonnyrigg you cannot do that as you will get punished and that is what happened tonight.’’
In the Grade 20 encounter, Bonnyrigg White Eagles clawed back to snatch a 2-2 draw in a dire match.

Sharks teach Tigers lesson at Seymour 04.04.10 01:44
Sutherland Sharks coach Robbie Stanton was proud of his team's effort in their 5-1 thumping of the A.P.I.A.-Leichhardt Tigers on Saturday evening A.P.I.A.-Leichhardt Tigers came to Seymour Shaw Park and left with their tails between their legs after a dismal display found the side a goal down after just 2’ minutes and 4-one down at the break, before the Sharks ran out 5-1 victors.
Neil Jablonksi slipped the ball to Nick Stavroulakis whose raking pass was met head-on by Yianni Fragogiannis at pace when sliding around his defender and firing in a shot that Tigers goalkeeper Matthew Nash hardly saw, let alone had a chance to stop, for the opening goal.
The visitors showed little belly for the fight in midfield in the first 30’ minutes by which time they found themselves four down even if Sutherland took the majority of chances that came their way for a change.
Nash did well in the 4’ minute to hold a Jablonski effort for the Sharks and the visitors could have found themselves level a minute later but for a last ditch tackle by Michael Robinson saw the ball out for a corner.
The Tigers were defending again moments later as Nash was again called into action after a sweeping move involving Robinson, Fragogiannis and Jimmy Bakis saw Steve McConologue have a diving header saved bravely by the custodian, but even he could do nothing 60’’ seconds later when Bakis thundered in a low skiddy free-kick from fully 35-yards that went under the wall and the unsighted Nash who could only watch it crash into the net after 10’ minutes of the game.
Robbie Younis created an opening but the effort was wayward and the Sharks went straight up field and netted another with Bakis again finding the net after he connected with a Blake Powell cross to make it three nil after just 18’ minutes of play.
Sutherland created a few more chances before they added the fourth in the 26’ minute as Bakis again linked with Fragogiannis down the Sharks right, and his cross was met by Steve McConologue to net his first goal for the club in-front of his home fans.
Franco Parisi showed some spirit when going on a mazy run in the 35’ minute that took him past three defenders and into the box, though his effort was blocked by the on-rushing Nathan Denham only for the ball to spill to Younis to poke home and make it 4-1 at the break.
A.P.I.A.-Leichhardt Tigers did come out fighting in the second period and may have pulled one back within seconds of the re-start but the effort was neutralised and the Sharks again began to take control and play possession football with some very neat passing and interchange in dreadful conditions as the rain lashed down.
Sutherland found their fifth goal of the evening when McConologue was brought down by Nash for a penalty that all thought Bakis would take to complete the hat-trick, but was given over to Blake Powell who showed great maturity in slotting the ball home with what turned out to be his last kick of the game as he was replaced by the midweek signing of Panni Nikas who returned to the Sharks from Central Coast Mariners.
The Sharks took their foot off the peddle a little and the Tigers stepped up a touch but the 1-5 loss could have been so much worse had the Sharks been as sharp as they were last season. In the end though, it was difficult to find any positives from this Tigers display even though there were some positive individual performances.
A very dejected and sombre Tigers coach Luke McGuire stated afterwards: “We were woeful, there is no other way to describe that performance.
“Sutherland took their chances tonight but we simply didn’t compete until it was too late.
“I’m very disappointed.”
Sharks coach Robbie Stanton was a little more upbeat saying: “I’m happy for the players tonight because we did take our chances but we didn’t hit our straps to be honest.
“We can, and will play better this season and we have before tonight’s game and got nothing from them so that is a step in the right direction but what pleased me most was our second-half display.
“I said to the guys at the break to retain the ball and keep possession and we did that we still have a few things to sort out but we are showing signs of improvement and it is obviously good for us and I know we will get better before the end of this campaign.”
Mention must go to Referee Peter Vrtkovski who once again had an outstanding match and kept the game free flowing in sometimes atrocious conditions.
In the Grade-20 encounter, Sutherland were also victorious by the single goal.

Marconi's unbeaten record crumbles against ruthless Sydney United 04.04.10 01:56
Sydney United's two-goal hero Elsid Barkhousir shown celebrating one of his goals in the Reds' memorable 3-0 victory over the Marconi Stallions on Saturday Marconi Stallions and Sydney United have played out some fascinating local derbies over the years and this Round 6 encounter of the NSW Premier League was no different. Marconi, unbeaten in their first five games, finally succumbed at the hands of their neighbours Sydney United who displayed some clinical finishing in front of goal to hand the gallant, injury-riddled Stallions an early Easter present they certainly could have done without.
The match was also seen as the first leg of the Capitol Hill Cup with the Reds gaining the upper hand at their opponents' stadium.
Sydney United’s player-coach David Zdrilic was delighted with his team’s performance stating after the game:
“Tonight’s win was good for us because the last three results certainly haven’t gone our way.
“We have been playing some good football but haven’t been getting the points – maybe we had to show a little bit of grit coming away from home tonight and we did.”
Zdrilic, nevertheless, admitted that Marconi controlled possession for a large amount of time and very sportingly gave credit to his beaten opponents as well:
“Marconi, in large spells, dominated possession but when we got the ball we were able to break quickly,” he said.
“We changed our game plan mid-game and it seemed to work.
“We were lucky at the start – they hit the crossbar early on and had a couple of good chances – but, in other games, we had mountains of possession and didn’t capitalise, so this time when we got our chances we took advantage of them.”
In the 15’ minute Ante Tomic threaded the ball into the area for Mirjan Pavlovic, but the pass was a little too wide and Pavlovic could only steer the ball into the side netting:
“It was only Mirjan’s second game for us and he has been fitting in well,” said Zdrilic of his striker’s very impressive game.
In the 21’ minute Pavlovic from close-range was off target when perhaps he could have done a little better. At this point the game required a spark and that duly arrived shortly afterwards.
In the 22’ minute Marconi lit the fuse of the spark with a golden chance to take the ead, but in the end it wasn’t to be for the Stallions.
Nahuel Arrarte’s shot was blocked by the Sydney United defence and the ball fell beautifully for young Mitchell Malia who curled it majestically onto the crossbar but, from the fortuitous rebound, Arrarte received the ball back and fired his shot into the grandstand much to the disappointment of the home crowd.
In the 36’ minute Arrarte, always reliable for the Stallions, nicely passed the ball from right to left and found Erick Anabalon lurking with intent in the box, but the latter could only manage to find the outside netting with his diagonal attempt on goal.
On 41’ minutes Elsid Barkhousir was on hand to grab the advantage for Sydney United after receiving a nice ball from Pavlovic and it was most definitely a turning point in the encounter.
Moments later, James Chronopoulos saved tremendously from Steve Hayes and from the rebound Pavlovic failed to expand Sydney United’s lead as he skewed his shot just wide.
On the verge of half-time Matthew Gordon forced a nice save from Vedran Janjetovic from a powerful shot just inside the box and that was to be the last of the action in the first-half.
In the second-half Barkhousir charged into the penalty box in the opening minutes only to be denied by Chronopoulos who came rushing out of his goal.
In the 59’ minute Marconi should really have equalised when Arrarte received the ball after the Sydney United defence failed to clear it from a corner; Arrarte put the ball through the forest of legs only for Janjetovic to fumble and then for Hayes to clear it off his own goal line to spare his goalkeeper’s blushes.
In the 70’ minute referee Adam Weir awarded a clear penalty to Sydney United when Pavlovic was brought down by Brenton Rhodes in a clumsy challenge in the penalty box.
From the spot Barkhousir managed to beat an outstretched Chronopoulos even though the Marconi shot-stopper was merely centimetres from pulling off a fantastic save.
“Elsid is having a fantastic season and he is playing in a different position, but to be playing like he is doing at the moment is a credit to him,” his coach David Zdrilic said.
In the 73’ minute a Tomic rocket from outside the box was tipped onto the crossbar by Chronopoulos at full stretch and in the 75’ minute Marconi replied: a cross by Gordon found Anabalon who dummied past the first defender, but shot just wide of the intended target.
In the 81’ minute Sydney United scored their third goal: Barkhousir set up Pavlovic who, with a powerful low drive, sent the ball into the bottom right-hand corner of the net to extend the visitors’ advantage and put the game well out of the home-side’s grasp.
Afterwards Lee Sterrey, coach of the Stallions, expressed disappointed with factors beyond his team’s control but, on the whole, was still very upbeat about his side’s performance:
“We made perhaps two defensive lapses – one before half-time that cost us a goal and one in the second-half to give away a penalty like that which is a very bad defensive mistake,” he said.
“Sydney United never had a shot on goal until they scored their first goal and never created an extra man, whereas we were moving the ball a lot more than what they did in the first thirty minutes of the match.
“I am very proud of our blokes and where we are sitting at the moment on the table, we deserve to be sitting because we’ve played some good football with some very young guys.”
In the Grade-20 division, Marconi Stallions and Sydney United shared the spoils with following a 0-0 draw.

Late goal drama on South Coast as Wolves score point against Blacktown 04.04.10 02:10
Blacktown City FC's Luke Roodenburg (left) shown in action against Wolves duo Dave Abel and Jason Trifiro (right) Photo by Damian Briggs Injury time goals from both sides saw South Coast Wolves and Blacktown City share the spoils on a wet and drizzly Saturday night at WIN Stadium. Tolgay Ozbey equalised with a scintillating free kick after Andrew Paine had opened the scoring in the second half. Ante Deur appeared to have secured the win for Blacktown as he slotted home on 90’ minutes, but a dramatic late leveller from Tynan Diaz earned Wolves a point.
A pre match downpour set the tone for a scrappy encounter, which saw Blacktown’s Brendan Maroney and Zac Caircross both shown yellow cards in the opening five minutes.
Wolves showed early signs of defensive frailty with poor clearances from their own 18-yard box. The ensuing chances fell to Deur and Luke Roodenburg, however both went unpunished due to poor finishing.
The slippery conditions kept the ball bogged down in midfield for extended periods as neither side threatened to score in the opening stages.
Wolves should have opened the scoring after 24’ minutes as Andrew Keep found himself one-on-one with the keeper. Michael Herbet’s fantastic reflex save fell to Mark Picciolini, who miss-hit his shot into the side netting with the open goal at his mercy.
Lisandro Berbis’ deep cross one minute later found the head of Andrew Keep; however Herbet was well positioned to hold the shot.
In his first appearance against his former club, Blacktown’s Lachlan Cahill tried an adventurous shot from 25-yards. His effort rocketed inches over the crossbar, although Brody Crane, also facing former employers, was well positioned to cover the shot.
Dave Abel was dominant in defence throughout the match. His presence ensured the attacking threats of Ozbey and Roodenburg were kept at bay on numerous occasions.
Ozbey was however able to find space on 38’ minutes, surging forward to fire a powerful shot on goal from 25-yards. Crane saved in spectacular style, diverting the strike onto the crossbar to deny the NSW Premier League’s top scorer.
An uncharacteristic mistimed header from Blacktown defender Tyler Simpson after 57’ minutes allowed Andrew Keep to slip into the box and round Herbet, who brought Keep down with an ill-time challenge.
Herbet looked to have made amends for conceding the penalty by saving Andrew Paine’s spot kick, however Paine slotted home to rebound to open the scoring.
Wolves’ lead lasted only seven minutes as Ozbey rocketed home the equaliser with a powerful free kick after Nick McInerney had handballed on edge of box.
Fatigue began to show in the Wolves defence in the closing stages; however Ozbey and Deur both wasted golden opportunities to put Blacktown in front with clear sights of goal.
Wolves were eventually made to pay on 90’ minutes when Roodenburg unselfishly centred for Deur to tap Blacktown into the lead from close range.
Aytek Genc’s men thought that the three points were set to return to Blacktown but late drama unfolded as the Wolves’ never-say-die attitude prevailed.
Wolves pressed forward in numbers and found a late equaliser on 94’ minutes as Tayfun Buyokkopru’s smart through ball slid Diaz behind the packed Blacktown defence.
The defender coolly slotted past Herbet to earn Wolves a share of the spoils and send their saturated supporters into raptures.
Wolves’ coach Trevor Morgan had mixed feelings about the final result.
“They (the players) know that this was an opportunity lost,” said Morgan.
“We talked at half time about the long patches of possession and how we didn’t do enough with it and that we needed to better in the second half.”
“To be fair Blacktown got all over us in the second half.”
“We’re now playing some top teams,” Morgan continued.
“You can see why they are top of the table; they have the ability to hurt you.”
“It’s certainly a confidence builder for us to that see we can take points off these top sides.”
Blacktown coach Aytek Genc was understandably disappointed to have conceded the late equaliser.
“We expected a tough game,” said Genc.
“They’re a top team that play some decent football, particularly in the middle third.”
“In the first half I felt we were a bit sluggish, that was a bit disappointing for us but I thought based on our second half performance we probably should have won the game.”
“We were 2-1 up with 10 seconds to go, so we feel like it’s a loss even though we’ve drawn two-all,” Genc added.
The evening’s early fixture saw Blacktown City brush aside South Coast Wolves 6-1 in the Grade-20 division.

Fucking excellent win by the boys. Great way to get back on track after a few shit weeks. Good to see Pavlovic get his first goal.
Also something i've noticed every single Marconi home game this season no crowd has been listed. Why is that? Is it because Marconi's crowds are to embarrassingly low:lol:
Also fucking excellent crowd by Wolves 3,200 the biggest of the season so far.

Marconi are lucky that when they play sydney united they can get the away supports to come because it is so close.
Contstantly slagging out FFT with titles like"ROUND 6 NSWPL MATCH REPORTS - Not courtesy of FFT thery dont care " when you use their forums is just stupid. They provide a grass roots section and there was no evidence they were not planning on supplying reports. Stop mucking up the crowd figures please. You get caught out EVERY time.

It'll be a cold day far away before Marconi get 2,500.
I'm guessing it'll be a pre-season friendly for Rovers.

Or are you saying that don't have representatives at their own league matches? I suggest you pull your head in, you're teetering over the edge, and if you're not careful, you could be taking a long holiday.

Rockdale City shine in Belmore 05.04.10 21:42
Sydney Olympic defender Josh Lawson shown giving Rockdale City Suns skipper Peter Apolevski a hard time during their clash at Belmore Sports Ground on Monday Rockdale City Suns have collected their second win of the season and moved into fifth-spot on the League ladder following an impressive 1-0 defeat of Sydney Olympic at Belmore Sports Ground, much to the disbelief of the loyal Blues supporters.
Despite the greater share of possession siding with Sydney Olympic, the visiting Suns used the counter-attack to perfection, securing the 1-0 win courtesy of Baturay Akin’s 75’ minute match-winner.
Sydney Olympic had the early running with much of the possession held down the right-flank. Peter McPherson provided the first cross of note, as Phillip Makrys rose highest to get his head to the ball, though the glancing header finished wide of the mark.
Rockdale City’s response arrived on 7’ minutes as George Lagoudakis received an exquisite long-ball from deep on the left-flank. Lagoudakis cleverly brought the ball down before unleashing a well-driven drive across the face of goal, though no Rockdale City teammate was waiting inside for the tap-in.
Sydney Olympic continued to hold the greater share of possession though it was the visitors that seemed most efficient on the counter-attack. Baturay Akin, in almost identical fashion to that of Lagoudakis moments earlier, flashed his effort across the face of goal failing to pick out the touch of a teammate.
The visitors replied via Adem Kir who tried his luck via a set-piece from distance, though Sydney Olympic shot-stopper Zaim Zanelli watched the ball whistle past his left-hand upright.
The home-side responded with playmaker Chris Triantis collecting the ball out on the left-flank. Triantis weaved his magic to bring the ball onto his right-foot, though his final effort collected a big deflection from a Suns defender, and the ball finished between goalkeeper Ben McNamara’s arms.
James Monie and McPherson combined well on 23’ minutes on the edge of the penalty-area, though some scrambling defence by the visitors thwarted the latter’s drive on goal.
Rockdale City again used the counter-attack to good effect with a swift move down the right initiated by Peter Apolevski. The Suns captain provided Lagoudakis with a shooting chance from the edge of the penalty-area, though some scrambling Sydney Olympic legs managed to diffuse the situation.
The Sydney Olympic supporters were on their feet as Matthew Mayora cleverly picked out Triantis at the back post with a floated cross from the right: Triantis’ first time volley, with only the goalkeeper to beat, ricocheted off the crossbar from point-blank range with the ball finishing over the goal line for a goal kick, much to the disbelief of the home crowd.
After the break, the home-side continued to call the shots with possession, though the Suns created the better chances on the counter-attack. Marino Musumeci latched onto the end of a cross from deep, though failed to get the execution right to test Zanelli in the Blues goal.
Sydney Olympic replied on 55’ minutes with Mayora causing a nuisance in the Suns penalty-area. The Blues striker’s snap-shot failed to draw the goalkeeper into a save, with the ball finishing over the crossbar.
The Blues target man tried his luck from a set-piece moments later, though his low-driven effort failed to force Ben McNamara into a save.
Rockdale City’s response was immediate, and following a poor clearance by the Blues defence, Dominic Hudap tried his luck from distance, taking the paint off the top of the crossbar with his powerful effort.
The momentum remained with the Suns and Musumeci showed his class and composure with a smart run to the byline, before cutting the ball back into the path of Sam Awad who was denied by a last-ditch challenge.
The Sydney Olympic crowd got behind their team and the players’ response was immediate. First, Mayora latched onto a Jerry Kalouris cross from the left, though failed to keep the ball down to hit the target. Anthony Doumanis and Iain Ramsay then combined well with a neat interchange of passes sending Ramsay through on goal; the winger’s cutback across goal though failed to pick out a teammate and the chance went begging.
On 75’ minutes, Rockdale City took the lead against the run of play. A fine forward foray by Mark Bariamis created the space for Baturay Akin on the left side of the penalty-area. The attacking midfielder, with only the goalkeeper to beat, blasted the ball into the roof of the net much to the delight of the many travelling Rockdale City supporters.
In the closing stages, some sloppy play in the Blues defence saw Apolevski steal the ball and release Awad. The speedy striker beat his marker before laying the ball off to Akin. The match-winner fired his effort inches wide of the upright.
The Blues saw one final chance go begging with the last kick of the match. Following a goalmouth scramble, Cedric Ramirez’s attempted shot on the turn was not clean, and the ball was easy pickings for McNamara.
Following the match, the disappointment on the face of Sydney Olympic boss Pat Marando was obvious:
“Not at all the result we were looking for,” commented Marando.
“Rockdale came here and made it hard for us. They got all their men behind the ball, and it was impossible for us to play, so I guess it was well done by them, even though it isn’t the most attractive football to play.
“We created a huge chance in the first-half with Chris Triantis hitting the crossbar. We score on that occasion, and then Rockdale has to come out and chase the game – it would have been a totally different situation.
“We conceded a silly goal, again from a pass that we probably didn’t need to make. We lost the ball and they scored.
“There will be definitely be changes this week. Some players have taken advantage of their spots and haven’t fought hard enough. There will be a chance for some of the other players to come in and have a go,” ended Marando.
Victorious Rockdale City Suns coach Mile Todoroski was full of praise for his team:
“I am very happy with the result, definitely. We planned to come here and be organised, and I think that we did it very well, so we are happy.
“In saying this, we did risk a lot with the crossbar Sydney Olympic hit… A goal there and we would have been in a different situation, though I am glad that we managed to keep a clean sheet and get a result against a team that is always a strong team, even though the results do not show this,” ended Todoroski.
In the Grade 20 division, Sydney Olympic completed an impressive display with a 5-1 defeat of Rockdale City Suns.

Could the declining crowd numbers be because of the poor results?
Also just a thought but it seems in all of Olympic's losses this season they seem to dominate possesion but just can't convert it into goals.

Of course poor crowd is a result of our results.
We had 1000 people at the game. About half was Rockdale supporters. If we had played Marconi or someone else, that means our crowd would've been around 600 people...
I missed the Sutherland and Croatia game, so i can comment for when we played Blacktown, Manly and Rockdale.
Blacktown we 100% deserved to lose without questions.
Manly we dominated but could not score...
Rockdale was a shit game by both Clubs, but we defiantly held more possession, but what good is it having majority of possession in the game and have nothing to show for it?

You must be an awesome estimator to be able to estimate the crowd to within 50 people... Do you have a mild case of autism or something?
