You know it might not be that stupid to have a punt on Chippers at 41$, he has been in great scoring form of late. What do you think about the FourFourTwo article Bookies' Bad News For The Roos? EXCLUSIVE: The Socceroos have yet to kick a World Cup ball but bookies have already written off their chances of South African glory - and predict a swift exit from the tournament.Have your say.

You're right, cuzzy (for once)
The plane to the round of 16 venue leaves a couple of hours BEFORE the flight back to NZ - so yeah, Aus will be on the plane first...they'll just be staying in South Africa.
I'm sure the All Whites will be able to watch the game from their seats in economy.

If Australia wins the WC, will that change News Limited stance on football in this country, we might get an extra inch in the 1/4 page that we get at the moment...wake up Australia, we need our own voice for the A-League and football and that also includes FTA TV in 2012

We should raise arms against News Limited and burn their HQ to the ground.

Not surprised one bit. Australia's group will be difficult. Especially since I don't really know where the goals are going to come from.

$67 to win the WC is shit odds. $10 to make the QF... not a bad bet. We'd get the 1 in 6 times, I think - putting it at pretty good odds on offer.

You have to consider that to make the quarters we have to make it past England. $10 on that is short odds.
