I'd rather Nevio Scala simiply because he wants the job and has proven to be a good coach with a good CV.

I would love to see Frank Rikjard but he's given no indication that he wants to manage the Socceroos.

What do you think about the FourFourTwo article Zullo: We Need To Stay Dutch?
EXCLUSIVE: The replacement for Pim Verbeek as Socceroos coach might be under debate but one Europe-bound A-League star is keen for the FFA to stay Dutch.

Have your say.

I see the Socceroos future is going to be a very bright one im happy with the players coming through and the players already overseas like spira, williams, ruka etc. If u sit back and see the development of our league of the past 5 years and just recently there has been more and more promising talent coming in the league by the time brazil comes around i think we will be a very attacking team.

Is Scalia's record better than Trappatoni? No. Remember Trappatoni 0- Verbeek 3, in Ireland. IMO on paper Irelands' playing list was better than ours, too. Sure 'twas a friendly but the Irish lads had everything to play for to make the team for their next WC qualifier and they were playing at home. So much for Italian coaches coaching mid to low tier national teams like Ireland were and we are. Dutch is the way to go.
