Bresc hasnt really played at all this year. Palermo dont want him even tho they are set for Euro football next season and need some depth & cover. An ongoing injury cloud there as well. I totally love the Bresc, he's saved our bacon so many times. But based on form, how can he realistically figure for SA?

18 games this season isn't too bad, but having only played three games in 2010 isn't exactly idea. He'll be in the squad on reputation and that there are no real alternatives to his position.

Yes, He should have left Palermo long ago. It's a shame but I think it's kind of taken a few years off his career.

It's only really inhibited his time in italy. He's perfectly capable of prolonging his career in somewhere like turkey, greece or germany...or even a lower team in italy.
