Honduras: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honduras_national_football_teamWhat do you think about the FourFourTwo blog World Cup 2010 - the Dummies Guide? I know I'm only supposed to write about Group F, but before I limit my observations to the four teams inhabiting that group, I need to give all 32 nations the once-over. You see, we (New Zealan...Have your say.

I actually think Algeria stand a reasonable chance of qualifying ahead of the United States. They have a stack of experienced players in strong European leagues.

North Korea, Honduras and Greece have just as much chance of being whipping boys as New Zealand do.

some comments on jason comments:
honduras has some quite good players as Alvarez, Suazo and palacios.
chile is a decent and solid team, with some techn players as alexi sanchez.
new zealand has not chance to mark a single point.. slowakia is a decent team. I'm sorry for nzl.
the goup d is the most equilibrate in my opinion: germany is favourite but is not that strong. Serbia Ghana and australia could be consider almost on the same level.
In my opinion Argentina and Brazil are the favourite teams for this wc. Italy and England are one step behind. Spain holland and portugal could be consider for final victory, but like surprise.
France has good chance to come back in paris after three matches. Mex and uruguay are not that bad.

no idea. How could nigeria possibly win this tournament? there best player is John obi Mikel, and Ivory Coast and Ghana are far, far superior with squads 100 times stronger.

and why would Uruguay be the first team to depart? they have France, Mexico and South Africa....they can probably beat them all.

Nigeria could win it. But they're going to need luck and physicality on their side, which won't happen. I'm backing the refs at the WC to be trigger happy and the african clubs will struggle for it.

"Portugal: So much on Ronaldo's shoulders. Could all end in tears."
I doubt Portugal could make it out. You have Brazil who are highly skillful and talented. You also have Ivory Coast who are very quick and of course, have Drogba. Don't right North Korea off either, as they had one of the tightest defenses in the Asian qualification campaign.
It will be very tough for Portugal to make it into the last 16, and I see them going out in the group stages.

Chile are 17th in the world because they're a good side and did exceptionally well in the toughest qualifying group.
