Thats a shame, I would of loved to have seem them play at the world cup. I suppose that's what comes of Australia having quite a few good players What do you think about the FourFourTwo article Perth Trio's Pain To Miss Out? PERTH Glory players Mile Sterjovski, Jacob Burns and Chris Coyne have spoken of their disappointment at missing out on representing Australia at the World Cup.Have your say.

they should have stayed in Europe for another year. simple.

I find it amazing that Perth didn't win the title. Real Madrid of the league?

I find it bizzare that you find it bizzare that Pim would pick a rather average EPL player(Garcia)over someone who is a rather average A League player (Sterj).

Sterjovski has been a major disappointment this season. The odd good goal, but little influence on general play. If you had to choose between him and a player in the Premier League (Garcia) who would you choose? That was Verbeek's choice.

Hope these Glory Boys stick around for the Asian Cup next year, definitely starters in any HAL-roos squad.
To be honest, when they ALL joined Perth it looked like they should have been title favourites. Mitchell's fault???

The reason Pim picked Lowry, Garcia, Oar etc over Sterj, Burns, Coyne is for their youth. They will NOT make the final 23. They will probably travel to the WC as a training only squad for experience. Pim is doing the right thing here, these guys will have learnt alot from this experience for the next WC. Viva la Pim.

The fact that Moore is in over Coyne is a complete joke. To all that play us attack Moore and you will score, the guy hasn't played in weeks and will leave us hung at the back. Burns is just unlucky there is too many players like him in the mid. Sterj seems to have lost his way since he moved to Perth. The good thing is they will all come back to Glory more hungry and take us to our first title.

Sterj had ample chances to "show himself", and didn't. Coyne and Burns are, simply, rubbish.

I thought Sterjovski was pretty ordinary and Burns and Coyne, while solid player didn't exactly set the A - League on fire for Perth last season.....
