Zullo is faster and has better vision than Tommy Oar. If it wasn't for Zullo getting injured no one would even know who Tommy Oar is.
Don't get me wrong Tommy Oar is good, but Zullo is a different class.

Are you for real queens park danger? zullo's touch is that of a leper, he can't cross to save him self and don't get me started on his shooting. There is a reason he was moved to the back line. He's in a different class alright...

he has all the raw skills to become a good player give him a chance.

I think if he works hard he and perhaps in a few years gets a move to a bigger league he will be destined to go to 2014.

When I moved to Brisbane 2 years ago I didn't know much about the Roar except that they had Dutch heritage and they had some young talents in Zullo and Kruse... both of whom were being talked about as future Socceroo stars.

Well it took me all of 15 minutes of my first game to realise what a laugh that claim was! Zullo was hopeless... heaps of pace and energy but could barely stand on his own feet let alone use them to make a decent cross or shot. And don't even start on his first touch and ability to measure a pass.

Zullo isn't even the previous Oar or Rukavytsya, let alone the next Harry Kewell. While I hold high hopes for his other young former Roar teammates, I'll be surprised if Zullo can cut it in the big leagues of Europe. Unless you count a journeyman career in Denmark, Romania and the lower leagues of Holland or England.

I totally agree with queensparkdanger. Everyone is beleiving the huge amount of hype about Tommy Oar, yes he is good and will probably make himself alot of money but as for his debut against Indonesia it was exactly that, a debut against Indonesia not Germany, not Serbia, not Ghana or any other influential club. Everyone has their own opinions and my opinion is Zullo is a much better winger than Oar and the only reason why Oar made it to the first team of Brisbane Roar was because Zullo got injured, otherwise he would still be sitting on the bench or playing for a different A-League club. Zullo had a chance to go overseas at the end of last season but I think Frank Farina talked him out of it to stay for another season in the A-League and look what happened to Farina. Zullo will go far with his skill, talent, hard work, lots of heart and insight of the game, he is also an inspiration to the youth of football, he just needs a lucky break and the football world would be his oyster. I wish him every success for his future.

Zullo isn't as good at crossing as young Tommy. But they are our two best left wingers.

Maybe him staying was the best thing he could have done. Gotten is 'bad' season out of the way when it did not matter too much - he was not trying to make his way up the pecking order of a European club in an injury season.

He will be better for his difficult patch playing left back, and with a good attitude has every chance of etching out a good career for himself.

Yeah Of course Oar is overhyped. I think most people with a clue are shocked by his selection. But it's obvious he and holland etc exist only for the experience.

Waited...Zullo played tonight? I didn't notice him...or Leckie. Whole first half I was wondering where Leckie was, only to see him subbed off in the second half.
