I saw this dude on TWG on Sunday and he knows what he is talking about. He is good friends with both Serbia and Ghana coaches and knows both of there strengths and weaknesses.
He also said the Socceroos have a good chance to beat both of them as he said Serbia's goalie is suspect and Ghana tend to destruct.
He maybe a douche IRL but he knows his stuff, seems to have a soft spot for the Socceroos. I like him.

Serbia like all the former Yugoslav nations produces gifted and technical players. But mentally they are fragile. If they get an early goal their confidence goes sky high and they can run over the top of anyone in the world. If they go down one early then their heads drop, and could end up being hammered eg 6-0. And against Germany, they'll be half way to losing before the ball is even kicked, they've always had an inferiority complex playing against them. Thats why this time around their coach has made a point of not "FEELING inferior to anyone they play". But telling the players, and them actually believing it, are two different things.
Ghana's coach has taken a more defensive approach compared to African teams of the past. They've always been good at attacking, but then you'd see some brain dead piece of defending that would undo it all. Not so with this Ghanian team.
Germany and Ghana to go through for mine.

The former Yugoslavia used to be called the Brazil of Europe and you can see it in all the former Yugo nations. They produce intelligent players with brilliant technique along with an overabundance of tactically astute coaches. Stojkovic isn’t a great GK but with the likes of Vidic, Ivanvic, Lukovic and Subotic in front of him I really don’t think they will be too worried.

I agree with junak, it's going to be a tussle between us and the Germans for that 2nd spot. I think Serbia and Germany will finish top two and go through.

He sounds like an arrogant prick but what he has said about Serbia is absolutely spot on. Their coach spent a lot of successful years at the big clubs in Spain and knows his shit. Australia should be making Serbia their prime focus. Forget Germany, Serbia is the toughest team in the group right now based on current form. I'm tipping them to win the group.

This guy does come across as very arrogant, but he is probably right. Serbia did very well in their qualifying group and have some class players. But hopefully they'll disrespect us and won't do the proper preparations against us and we'll sneak up and smash their noses all over their faces, so to speak.

Wow, Serbian (who as coaching u/14's 4 years ago apparently) says Serbia are good to go. C'mon, I'd prefer to hear what is being said in Serbia. Hopefully they are talking down any chance of Australia posing a threat . . . just as Radovic seems to be, not that his opinion is golden.
Every team we play in the group stage will look at us as their easiest game, no matter what they say. Happened 4 years ago, will happen again . . . it's one of the best things we have going for us.

Geez if someone doesn't watch J-league it is funny that they comment on it, but it doesn't surprise me when anonmity is so convenient. Tulio is still at Nagoya.

Kennedy scored against Uzbekistan and Holland, not necessarily small guys there. Sure he has an advantage being big in Japan but have a look at look at the defenders there- Tulio, Nakazawa, Iwamasa, Kamano all of them are over 6 foot not to mention the foreigners. J-league wide midfielders tend to be smaller and faster but they are hardly defenders right, though I suspect Davstar you opinions are based on some strange J-league hatred than they are on facts.

Serbia is the ebst team in the group. Their bigness is also why we needed Kisnorbo, and why we need big Sasa - Beauchamp is probably not the solution.

Vidic is employed as a butcher at Man U I am sure he will hack someone down at some stage during the World Cup and be sent off. Let's hope it is against Australia

If Josh Kennedy is up front we have no chance of beating Serbia. Scoring in the J(oke)-league were defences are 3 feet shorter then him is one thing. Against Vidic he wont even touch the ball. Im just putting it out there

This guy Misha is a joke and an huge dick head. i had him in my junior years (under 14's) 4 years ago as my coach. He screamed at us if we gave the ball away, even if we were up 6-0. he told us to hack the opposition and in the GF told us to take out the oppositions playmaker and try to injure him. My best mate had been playing in the team since the under 6's and the whole season he averaged 2min game times... we trained 3 times a week. hes a dick. FTT

hes just really saying what everyone outside the australian set up is saying, that we are really the underdogs of the group with ghana. We strive in that position though as was seen in germany so you never know! Only thing is half the australian public dont realise we are underdogs and will be very dissapointed with anything but going through the group stages.

pffffffft. Way to ruin the party. What do you think about the FourFourTwo article 'Attacking Serbia Will Worry Roos'? EXCLUSIVE: Pim Verbeek may believe Australia and Germany are favourites but the smart money is on Serbia in group D, says one former Red Star Belgrade player. Have your say.
