I want to buy Kevin Prince a beer. What do you think about the FourFourTwo article Ballack Out of World Cup? GERMANY captain Michael Ballack has been ruled out of the World Cup finals with an ankle injury, the German Football Federation have confirmed.Have your say.

As a Chelsea supporter I was disgusted with the tackle and as a Socceroos supporter I was also disgusted with the tackle....whether we win or lose or he plays or doesn't we shouldn't take delight at his injuries.

Hard lines for the poor guy I feel for him but the best news for the Roos I have heard in ages. Lets hope the Prince of Boateng also dosen't cut it. The incident also tells me what a dirty bunch of pricks certain Ghanians can be when under the pump and there so called impeccable technique goes out the door under a hail of flailing tackles.

Losing your captain before such a big tournament is tough, the fact that Kevin-Prince Boateng is German born (and playing for Ghana) just makes it worse.

While the Germans have the depth to replace Ballack on the field I think the psychological blow of losing their captain on the eve of the tournament will hurt them a lot. His leadership and experience raised their standard and his absence will take its toll.

LOL wow Ballack is gone. They will just reload the ammo with their super extraordinary depth. I wont be celebrating until the job is done. I will put the champagne down for now.

They should be OK once they get going, but it might take them a game... ;)

Oh dear. What a pity. How sad. if you are quick you might find an online bookie who hasn't adjusted the odds. Mind you Castrol Rankings don't reckon Australia's chances of getting out of the group are as bad as the bookies anyway. And they give AUS a 20% chance of topping the group. http://www.castrolfootball.com/widget/c58ffd5ce21e5bb2108d77d7a83b79ca/groupPredictor?team=500Edited by Yet Another User Name: 17/5/2010 11:40:43 PM
