accuse me of getting high on diego's supply, but i see some method to his madness.

the likes of zanetti & cambiasso have had their chance and failed terribly, plus they've made their $$$ so a WC may not be as high a desire as it should be.

by throwing in some guys who maybe weren't expecting the chance may remove complacency & light a fire under the team to perform. palermo hadn't palyed for the NT for years and scored the goal to qualify Argentina for the finals.

that said, Diego is a textbook case of management by chaos
