Will be an interesting game as NZ have a strong defence while Australia has a weak attack. The midfielders will be the big threat to us in this game. While Aussie will, in all likelihood, win, I doubt this is beyond NZ's reach.

Here in NZ we are 11-1 odds to win. I like those odds.

From what I saw at the closed training session yesterday, the line-up should be something like this -

I don't think there is much chance of NZ losing 7-0, you overestimate the ability of the Socceroos I think, they are not a world-class team eithier, very good yes but world class no.

IMHO I rate the Kiwis in this match and I wouldn't be surprised to see them win. I even wouldn't be surprised to see them win a couple of matches next month. But on the other hand I wouldn't be surprised to see them lose 0-7 today and every match until the end of the group stage. They have heart but it's not a world-class team. Can they beat Brazil? Very unlikely. Can Australia? Well, we did 10 years ago at the Confeds Cup...

socceroo69 or davstar, what ever you call yourself these days. it doesn't matter where nz finish or whether you rate them or not. the fact of the matter is nz is gaining respect and it is great acheivement to be at the world cup!!, and per head of population they are up there with serbia in terms of acheivement for getting there!. i hope they get something out one of those games at the wc, and i think they can get a draw somewhere

I honestly would not be surprised to see NZ get one over us. I hope I'm wrong, but they're gonna lift big time and we might get surprised.

They are the away side.
They are underdogs in at least that way.

I dont rate the all whites no disrepect, i wish them well in the World cup but simply they will finish bottem of there group.
