Nah, it's not arrogant to knock the Kiwis. They let Holman score against them. They are going down big time in SA.

Some comments by fellow Aussies are nothing short of arrogant. I get sick of this shit of disrespecting the Kiwi's. We haven't done enough in world football to be blowing our own trumpet.

not sure if saying Australia is better than New Zealand is arrogant, we have proven results over the last decade with wins over top nations (Brazil, England..), you have a 4-3 loss against an Italy B squad..

Nelsen also picked up on the fact that AUS have only been to 1 WC more than NZ and yet they think they are the best thing since sliced bread. The arrogant pricks.

what probly happened was some dipstick rugby oriented reporter asked Ryan if there was any similarities between NZ and SAussie qualifying in 2006... Ryan probly thought, well we won a one off game so yeah.
He also said he liked to gamble and drink... i et thats the next big headlline

Our 2006 WC first 11 was made up of players in top Div in Europe. Take away Nelsen and who do NZ have? Im not shitting on your parade, but seriously why make such a silly statement.

Quote:I see no similarities between the squads tbh. Nelsen needs to lay off the booze. for once i agree with you semi-pro players present in any world cup squad just shows how far behind they really are. Quote:We haven't played anyone of note, except minor loses to Mexico and Italy. We still have to wait till after this game to get a go at someone else of note. you are always good for a laugh mate

It's great to see, however the World Cup will be over in six weeks and then there is nothing else for the All Whites. No Asian Cup, more more World Cup qualifiers for two years (and even then against Pacific island countries again), nothing...

1982 was a great year :P I hope the socceroos do much better but good luck to the all whites and hopefully they can do a little better than what was done at the confederations cup. What do you think about the FourFourTwo article Nelsen Sees NZ Roo Repeat? NEW Zealand skipper Ryan Nelsen sees unfolding similarities between the Socceroos of 2006 and the current All Whites squad as the countries prepare to do battle in Melbourne tonight. Have your say.
