I don't think Australia were clearly the better team at all, although they should be. Culina was pretty much invisible in the first half, it was as if he had been subbed on at half time.
In any case you can't read too much into games like this. It is not unusual for good teams to look ordinary three weeks out and then turn up at the World Cup and produce the goods.
