They need Lahm very muchly. He's an excellent player, great leader and very experienced. The German defensive line is sitting too far up the park and not closing down when it should be.

Ozil stayed just a touch too wide which meant he couldn't hit it first time after that ball from Cacau.

Klose needs to come on. Would like to see Kroos as well.

Golden Shoe update: Diego Forlan only has one assist so he remains in fourth place, behind Thomas Mueller and also David Villa and Wesley Sneijder as he's played more minutes (even before kick off he'd played more than both) than the latter pair.
