STFU +1, how is it that Van Persie's booking was a "good call" but Puyol's was "a little over the top"? Fuck off Foster. De Jong was lucky not to be sent off for that tackle on Alonso, could so very easily have broken his Sternum.

also if the dutch keep playing recklessly, they are going to get a man sent off before this game is over.

Curiously, the dutch are looking better getting forward than Spain.

Pedro seems to always find himself a in a good position but he's a horrible finisher :P

Tight and cagey so far.
Not much space for either side.
Will be surprised if van Bommel stayed on the pitch the full ninety..

Tight half. Both teams cancelling each other out. RVP and Villa have both looked very isolated.
Still a lot of football to be played and the substitutions may play a big part.
Torres and Babel? :P

Bryan wrote:Pedro seems to always find himself a in a good position but he's a horrible finisher :P That's an understatement. At least Torres could finish, even if he wasn't running too well with his lack of match fitness. I'd be pulling Pedro for Torres personally. Nothing much to talk about from the first half. The Dutch have looked the better side going forward, but I still can't see them winning.

It may be my Arsenal bias showing but I think Fabregas could honestly make a difference.

The shit these 'experts' are talking in the half time Analysis is fucking retarded. Edited by afromanGT: 12/7/2010 05:29:01 AM

This match blatantly going to end 8v9 or something, with one of the goalies scoring the winning penalty.

It's been good defending from the Dutch. Anyone gets the ball in the final third and they close them right down.
Can anyone lese hear that fucking bell that some dickhead keeps ringing coming through with the commentary? It's driving me nuts.

That's a stupidly late tackle from Heitinga and an even more stupidly late booking from Webb. How can you wave play on and then book Heitinga? #-o

He tried to let the game flow but then once he saw Villa rolling around on the ground he had to stop play. I'd like to know how Villa got so hurt he had to roll around on the ground like an idiot and hold the lef Heitinga didn't even touch.

The ref WAVED PLAY ON, and THEN when he realised that Villa was still on the ground he orded a stop to the play so he could get treatment...THEN he books Heitinga? How can you book Heitinga for something that you waved play on for? He booked him for something that he already said wasn't a foul! How is that good refereeing? Spain have looked a lot more threatening with Navas on the pitch.
