shit bloody attitude. these should be games where they go out to impress pim for a starting 11 spot. this attitude of this game doesnt matter should never ever cross your mind in football.

The thing is, the players know that barring injury Pim's starting 11 isn't going to change so it's not like they are really fighting for starting places tbh.

The results don't matter (so much), but how the team plays together sure does. Hoping for a decent (or at least more cohesive) hit out against the Danes and we should be firing on all cylinders against the US (who were impressive against Turkey on the weekend).

The result against Denmark somewhat matters more than the result against NZ because we will be playing with 9-10 out of our starting 11 as decided by Pim. Against NZ there was only half the strongest team. Moore, Cahill, Grella and Bresciano should see this as an important game to turn their last performance around. Overall, the performance matters more than the result but if they perform well then they should get a desired result. I certainly do not believe that this hit out tonight is in anyway meaningless.

It doesn't matter so much for Australia against Denmark. WE can't contain their lead striker, so we should try to keep it under 4 goals.

I disagree. The result in a warm up friendly may not matter but the performance does. A warm up is a good indicator of the teams readiness. Two weeks out from the opening group game I expect to see cohesive and coordinated movement, crisp passing and quick transition between phases. If there is still room for further improvement then that is great but there is NO excuse for a poor performance this close to the opening game of the tournament.

Ricki Herbert for Socceroos coach... but look, these are warm up games, where would you rather get points, in a warm up friendly, or in a World Cup game?

Ummm...don't we currently have an ad running where the players struggle to say, f..f..f..f.friendly? Isn't that because Australian teams don't know the meaning of the word? Isn't that becuase we go all out to win every game?
