I agree with Pim that our striking stocks are better than they appear on paper. If push comes to shove Cahill, Chippers and Vidosic are all capable, and of proven ability, playing up front.

My issue is that I don't think Ruka and Kennedy really hold the ball up and bring the 'shadow striker'/ attacking mid into play properly. The Viduka role is not really Kewell's style either.

Watching Fox telecast and they mentioned Scott Chipperfield has been playing up front this season for Basel (scored 13 goals) which certainly makes him one of the most prolific Aussies going around
