No real surprise that he's been left out, he started the year well but it didn't end well and when your other option is Lennon you're going to take that every time.

I must agree with Afro.. i wasnt really suprised by the squad... Lennon has had a standout year before picking up an injury late in the EPL season. Walcott has just been to inconsistant

i woulda like Michael Dawson ahead of Ledley King and Adam Johnson ahead of Shaun Wright phillips, otherwise not a bad squad.

Zimbos - I think experience played a big part in those picks tbh... SWP has played with the squad alot where as Johnson hasnt as much... Dawson and King is a bit closer though as i think they are both as good as each other and really it was only going to be a bit part role

Said it before and I'll say it again. Johnson doesn't have the experience. He didn't perform well against Mexico and just five months ago he was playing in the championship. I'd have taken Michael Daweson ahead of Upson.
