Only 1?

Grosso in the 118th minute against Germany in the semis in 2006.

Baggio in the 2nd round equalising in the dying minutes to send the Italy vs Nigeria game into Extra time in 1994 (not a winner but they went on to win the match).

Biased, I know :P

What do you think about the FourFourTwo article 20 Things We Love About The World Cup - Late Winners?
NOTHING sums up why football is the most popular sport in the world better than the drama of a late winner in a critical game.

Have your say.

After 2006, I'd say there's a fair chunk of us who aren't huge fans of late winners.

Bergkamp definitely one of the most technically skilled players ever, so much style as well. Every thing that he did looked effortless. Take me back the the glory days of Arsenal :<

Here you go, with Del Piero's final beautiful nail in the coffin at the end of some awesome teamwork added in for good measure :)

Nothing beats the commentary. He sounds so exhausted at the end, haha

Thanks charonis. 2 of the sweetest goals ever, and how Grosso's reaction reminds me of Tardelli in '82.
