There are some good youngsters coming through - Vido, Ruka, Oar, Williams, Holland and Lowry in the prelim squad. Add to that Burns, Djite, Herd, Troisi, Kanta, and Langerak.
Its not all doom and gloom after this World Cup.

Agree, it's very positive, and I hope we see most of this bunch in the Asian Cup squad, which will be good experience for them to then qualify us through Asia for the next WC.

I really, really hope Vidosic is our next superstar. Though I'm a little doubtful given his performances in the German league, not to mention the fact that he's ruined his hair (I was a fan of his old haircut). Lift yourself to the next level Dario and prove doubters like me wrong.

We havegood players come threw but we dont have any reat ones. To become a 'Superstar' u pretty much should be playing at the highest level at 18-20 only player at that level is Jason Davision.

Not saying all these guys are going to be superstars...but there is some potential in the below group

we've definitely got a bring in a big core of these guys into the Asian Cup..Rhys and Vidosic have both shown they can step into the first 11 without much trouble..i really want to see Nathan Burns involved again..such a talented kid..

Not sure what you define as a 'Superstar', but you might want to check where certain players were at 18-20. I don't think you'd complain if we had a squad full of Cahill-level players but where was he at 18-20?

True. I perceive him being a little too respectful towards his opponent. Hopefully when he gets to his mid-twenties, he'll develop more confidence.

He's Balkan so he's already got that natural mongrel in him. He's just gotta learn to use it.
