Bring it on I say! I can see Germany having at least one high score in the group stage, just hoping not against us.

What do you think about the FourFourTwo article Germans Want Strong Start?
GERMANY boss Joachim Low is focused on blasting from the World Cup blocks against the Socceroos and is confident his side are almost ready for the big kick off.

Have your say.

Pretty damning stat here. The last time Germany didn't win their opening game was all the way back in 1986 with a 1-1 draw against Uruguay.

I'm pretty sure 1986 was also the last time they lost a group stage match.

Well its about time they did lose one - why not to Australia! If we are going to do it - do it big!

Definitely. At the very least a draw against the Germans. I'm confident they underestimate us even if they say they don't (Many, many newspaper articles indicate this on their behalf). It all comes down to how much a team wants it, and with this being many players last World Cup for the socceroos and a largely inexperienced side for the Germans, I'm positive we can grind a good result against the er... 'superstars' of Europe.

I'm beginning to think Ghana and Serbia are easybeats. Screw the so-called 'experts' in here talking up those teams. They both seem extremely under prepared and overrated, particularly Ghana.

Damn, I'd love to have the dilema of having to chose between Trochowski for Muller.

Australia are prepared? Apart from the bus being parked, Pim Vergreek has NFI when it comes to attack and doesn't have a great striker to lead the line
