This side relies to much on this guy. I prey that a holman or vidosic can step up and take the pressure of Cahill. Kewell wont be playing.

One small observation. Craig Moore showed some surprisingly decent toe to get back in position from the near side wing when one of the US forwards got free.... not the goal scorer the other African American gent (cant recall his name).

So you'd rather us salvage say a 2 all draw and have Cahill miss the first game so we can save face against the US?

We have to also remember Cahill went off and Kewell and Emmo weren't risked. Holman who is starting to become a super Sub was injured.

And as long as Verbeek presists in playing Moore our Defence is always going to look slow.

I throught the game was highly entertaining even if we did lose, its just a friendly.

I agree Grella will probably get a red card in the World cup and Velrie has looked my more suited to the holding position.

And i know im going to cop flake for this but Kennedy plan and simple can hold the ball. He turns it over and misses clear cut chances like no tomorrow.

Did I count the shots and corners and possession wrong,Heineken? All three vastly in Australia's favour? Take out Grella's gift goal and we would win that game nine times out of ten.

....sigh....I'm not even going to bother...

Don't you understand the idea that this is merely preparation for the world cup and the result has next to no significance? Why would they risk further injury to our most effective player, and him potentially missing the Germany game, in order to try and get a result in a friendly?

We play shit without Cahill or Holman on the field.

At the time (not suspecting he was injured) I thought it was a good idea taking him off - a kind of worst case scenario rehearsal so to speak.

Predictably, we didn't pull through without him, which is a worry, and you get the feeling that Tim's going to have to play 270 minutes at the cup.

I don't think they should have taken Timmy off. He was our only chance of actually getting a result for mine.

So much for us never losing when Cahill scores!
