INDIANA JONES 5 GETS CRYSTAL SKULL WRITER

BY ALEX OSBORN Following Disney's announcement that Indiana Jones 5 is indeed happening -- with Stephen Spielberg back to direct and Harrison Ford to star -- the film has now found a writer.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Crystal Skull co-writer David Koepp will once again team up with Spielberg to bring Indy to the big screen.

In addition to penning the script for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Koepp worked with Spielberg on a number of other films, including the original Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park and War of the Worlds.

Indiana Jones 5 opens in theaters on July 19, 2019. Both Lucasfilm head Kathleen Kennedy and Frank Marshall are on board to produce. While plot details are being kept under wraps, Ford will indeed reprise his role as the film's leading man.

With give him props for Jurassic Park and War of the Worlds but the Crystal Skull was horrible. :(

Saw BvS today. Don't understand some of the hate it's gotten. It's not a classic but it's a good blockbuster type movie which is all it was ever going to be. Affleck was an absolute 10/10..anyone panning his performance obviously came into it with a prejudice against his casting

I think it was meh to be honest, loved the first Superman but this was a let down. Affleck was great as Batman, he came off much better than I thought he would so credit to him. Lex Luthor was so shit, they totally picked the wrong actor for him, Jesse Eisenberg while good in some movies was just ridiculous as Lex.

Agreed. You'll love it or hate it. My opinion, it's very cleverly written and acted out.

Is anyone else getting less and less excited about Suicide Squad with each new trailer? They just get worse and worse :(

It looks amazing, but I get where youre going. Whenever a movie receives so much hype it always flops. How smokin does Margot Robbie look, damn.

The first trailer was dark and awesome!
Then the gimmicky Queen one came next with such high quality lines as "We're bad guys, it's what we do!"...

And the most recent one also uses the phrase 'bad guys'. And looks very gimmicky as well... I'm just devastated about it before it's even been released.

My problem isn't that its lighthearted, its that DC is 100% misleading us. As you said with the first trailer, that's what the tone is going to be like i guarantee it. A few weeks ago DC said they're doing reshoots to inject more comedy into this movie. Basically every joke that was gonna be in the movie (prior to reshoots) were shown in the trailers. This movie is getting hyped up as a lighthearted superhero film, and after the critical mess that was the dark and gritty BvS DC knows it needs to change things up, however its too late for that. This trailer is just DC saying "hey look how funny this film is gonna be!" to make up for the doubt that the news of reshoots created.

So in the end it's going to a movie with it's tone all over the place. Hurray.

Looks like it will let my expectations down but all movies of my favourite books are disappointing because they are how some else imagines the story rather than me.
