Read the review. I think it was a good thing I did. It talks about the flaws in the movie and how it's not as good as the previous film. Which I needed because I'm expecting this film to be the best I've ever seen

If you like Begins more then TDK then this will be the greatest thing since sliced bread but if not than no Batman film will come close to TDK

So in other words Scarecrow and Ra's al Ghul are in the film

Saw Ted today and loved it, classic McFarlane humour, and some amusing cameos from the likes of Patrick Warburton and Ryan Reynolds.
Mila Kunis......wow. It was a huge test of my mental strength resisting the urge to just knock one out in the cinemas.

Can't stand typical comic book movies (although I wouldn't call Blade & Blade 2 typical)

Marvel superhero movies are only popcorn flicks at best DC can actually make super movies (especially Batman)

Don't know how I have not discovered this sooner, they are making an Assassins creed movie =p~ http://au.news.yahoo.com/thewest/a/-/world/14228836/ubisoft-taking-blockbuster-assassins-creed-to-big-screen/Said to be starring Michael Fassbender, so things are looking good.

Flicking between 'The Dark Knight' and 'In Bruges', both are brilliant films.

But that's not the point I was making. I was largely concurring with your suggestion that comic book films aren't worth bothering. What the fuck happened to John Dies At The End? I saw the trailer and it disappeared off the face of the earth.

So it's done, but I dunno when they're doing a full release, the site still just says 2012.

Critical reviews have been 50-50, but people viewing it as a potential 'cult classic' and who read the book have been giving it top reviews. The film being 'premiered' in January and still not out is a bit odd though.

People hype themselves up for movies these days, because they constantly leak info, pics, a few seconds of footage here and there, so everyone goes in thinking its going to be the best thing ever. It will never meet such high expectations this way.
Hence why I've avoided almost everything TDKR wise, so I have no expectations and thus will see the film for what it is. If it blows my mind, it blows my mind. If it doesn't, then meh, I had no expectations anyway  win win.
Its like with Mass Effect 3. Was hyped to the shit. people played it, weren't happy with the ending, then nerd-raged over it for months on the interwebz. Stop having so much hype and such high expectations to begin with!

Apparently the best thing you could do for TDKR is watch all 3 movies like one continuous film. From all reports it's a very well crafted trilogy. I was very glad to do that since watching all 3 like one film is exactly what I'm doing

DC Worst Film of a Superhero since the shadow and Dick tracy. @salmon First trailer for Man of Steel will be seen during screenings of TDKR. It is not technically a Nolan Film but he is partly responsible for the script.

I didn't because of bad reviews but it shows why taking the Marvel approach to the DC universe doesn't work
