FORMER Socceroos assistant and Adelaide United boss John Kosmina has been appointed coach of SA Super League club Raiders.
And Kosmina's former Adelaide skipper, Ross Aloisi, was on Monday night appointed coach of local Premier League club West Adelaide.
Kosmina addressed the Raiders players last night before departing for South Africa today with the Green and Gold Army. Raiders president Alan Vrbanac last night confirmed that Kosmina would take charge but former Adelaide City NSL stopper Bugsy Nyskohus would lead the club until Kosmina returns from South Africa.
Kosmina replaces John Duthie who was cut loose.
Former West Adelaide player/coach Carl Robinson resigned from the post last week but has vowed to continue playing under Aloisi.
