Mark Viduka and Josip Skoko may have been capable of extending their international careers but this mornings game against Germany highlights the value of retiring with your dignity intact.
I wish Moore and Chippers had made the same decision. I have really valued both players contributions to the national team. However, my memories of this mornings game will always cloud my recollection of otherwise outstanding careers.
