We have to beat Ghana sorry our goal difference means we hve to beat both teams. Germany at worst will draw with Ghana, seriously thi is the WC hoping teams beat other teams isnt going to work.

Germany only lost to Serbia because they lost a men and missed a penalty with 10 men i reckon they played better then Serbia there keeper made a mistake and didnt clear the ball.

if we draw with ghana tonight all is not lost....we just have to defeat serbia no matter what happens....a draw with ghana and a win against serbia will get us through as long as ghana gets 3 points out of there game against germany..

Guys, give some credit to Serbia! They won a game fair and square. They were better than Germany and that is reason they won otherwise it would not have happened.

I'm wondering when FIFA are going to work out that the playing public don't want to see games with 10 men. It boring and irritating to see good players suspended for no good reason. How does that add to the spectacle?

I though the worst player on the park was Zigic. Even if it was his knockdown that lead to the goal,he actually touched the ball twice (the other touch was the header from point blank that went over when he out-jumped Lahm (LOL). Makes Kennedy look like a midfield maestro..

Not much has changed really. We still need to win both games. All this has done is give the Serbs a bit more confidence. But it also means that Germany have to come to play against Ghana.

Podolski missed what, about 7 or 8 chances. You'd think any one of us could have scored in some of those chances. These referees seem to be trigger happy (especially favouring Euro teams).

In that case if it's when denying a goalscoring opportunity no referee follows the rulebook. When I did refereeing which was the FIFA accredited course we were taught r was only a straight red of it stops the ball going directly in the net.

Direct from the Fifa rules:

denying the opposing team a goal or an obvious goalscoring opportunity
by deliberately handling the ball (this does not apply to a goalkeeper within
his own penalty area)

I suppose is it open to interpretation, but I would think the word "opportunity" says it all.
