WAYNE Rooney hit out at the England fans after they booed the team from the field following the dismal 0-0 draw against Algeria in Cape Town.

Perhaps if Mr. Rooney actually looked like he wanted to be out there and wasn't such a waste of space last night the booing might not of actually happened.

Gerrard, Lampard and Rooney were pathetic.

Lampard looks petrified...everytime the ball goes near him...

Heskey tries hard but surely Defoe has to start the next game, he at least looks dangerous out there. Unlike Shrek , oops sorry Rooney...

Aussie gov should give rooney citizenship, we would never boo him. plus he wont have to move

England played terrible. Algeria deserved to win. I set my alarm for this one and the game was shit. I didn't bother with the 2nd half. I glad I got some sleep.

I got up when the game was at around 41 mins.. saw a bit of it and thought to myself "stuff this, I need sleep" maybe they'll score some goals in the 2nd half ;) anyways Im glad i got some sleep too.

England team never stops to amaze me! They are one of favourites to win the whole thing but no they have been the most disappointed team at the world cup.
Shame, shame...

Not to mention that Emile Heskey has only scored 7 goals in a shitload of intenationals, and Peter Crouch is left warming the bench... Oh Dear...

That's only because Rooney seems to play better with Heskey than with Crouch.

England were pathetic this morning and they deserved every single one of those boos. Rooney should stop complaining about it and it on the chin because he was the worst of a bad lot. He just looks like he doesn't wanna be there.

I really really hope Slovenia get the draw they need to go through so Englans are knocked out. They don't deserve to go through.

Looking forward to the last 2 matches. Will be an interesting end to this group!
