"Hanging by a thread"? All they have to do is beat Slovenia. Once. Admittedly, they don't look like they are capable of that, based on that performance, but still. USA and England are still in pole position - it's all still in their hands.

I really can't see England beating Slovenia. David James has had his one OK game of the year against Algeria.
Really what is it with the Brits and their ceappy keepers now? Where have the Shilton and Bank's inspired players gone?

That is 90 minutes of my life I won't get back. I just hope Australia don't provide me with a similar experience tonight.

Slovenia looked far more imaginative in the game against USA than England did so where we will get some inspiration from i don't know.

Can we please have the Rooney that plays with Man utd rather than this current version. I think he needs to change his boots as he can barely stay on his feet at the moment. I could say the same about the Lennon that plays for Spurs compared to this version. Maybe we should wear red for the final game.
I also wish Lampard would learn to pass in front of the player so that they can run onto it instead of making them stop by playing the ball to or behind them.

The good thing for Capello is how the Slovene's capitulated against the US. Slovenia will probably go in mentally fragile, tried to park the bus and should have lost if not for a wrongly called foul for Edu's goal
