If we dont win against Ghana. Verbeek should be sacked. Verbeek has ruined our international credibility with that disgusting display against Germany. The least we can do is tarnish his reputation. He was already sacked by South Korea. And what better revenge on him than for him to get sacked twice managing two international teams IN A ROW.

He should NOT be allowed to walk away with any sort of credibility after this charade.

What's the point? If we don't win against Ghana nothing can be done anyway... May as well wait til after the WC is officially over, he moves on and we can look for a proper replacement.

If we sack him now we'll look unprofessional...we've made our bed and now we have to lie in it...for the next two games at least!

Firstly - Only problem with that logic, Serbia's coach Radomir Antic would have been sacked after the first game. However they bounced back and have now beaten Germany.

Secondly - What's the point if he's got one game to go?

Thirdly - Let's just hope we win and worry about it after the game.

Sack him with 1 game left in the World Cup  You're a genius, We could bring in Guus and not a lot would change for the third game.

But I shouldn't be surprised when I seen it was 'seriously' that started this topic.

Ill give it to Fozz and Les Murry and the TWG gang they have been saying he is a shit coach for years now.

Constently saying how Australia is struggling to beat the shitest teams ie Bahrain. I swear people critised them for it but they were fukn right Verbeek is a shit coach. If we win tonight it will be because our team has played together for so long they have geld a squad.

Without a doubt Pim would have a contract termination clause which means if the FFA sacked him it would probably cost us several hundred thousaund. Why do it?? If we lose to Ghana, it's over anyway, and with only a matter of weeks before Pim goes anyway i see no logic to sacking Pim.

Sack Pim and Arnold is in charge for the Serbia game. Whilst Arnold might not get a worse performance out of the side than Pim - on principle, I can't abide the notion that anyone as inept as Arnold (Olympics, anyone?) could get to manage at the world cup finals.

Agreed. Sacking Pim would be pointless if we lost to Ghana, just like we would be.

Gee seriously, you even said something sensible the other day and now you've gone and undone it all.

This. We hired him, he did a shit job, and has been doing so for ages. But the important thing to remember is that in sacking him, we achieve nothing. We go into the Serbia game looking unprofessional, without a coach, with an unharmonious squad and confusion in the ranks. Despite terrible performances, sacking him now is not the way to go. Sacking him now is not going to fix or achieve anything. It will only make a dire situation worse.
