Absolute dropkick of a referee. Both Graham Poll and Matthew Breeze would have done a better job. But on the bright side it was a courageous performance by the roos, I'm proud of them. Poor Harry Kewell, when he's not injured he's suspended. The guy can't get a break can he?

That was a real Australian performance. Very little going right for us, still taking the game on and having a go.

So proud of the way the team fought and wilkshire had such a chance, the keeper was too good. refs always give some stupid decision against Australia. Well Germany will consider the Ghana game an absolute MUST win, otherwise they'll probably feel like topping themselves. Based on that they'll probably go out there and look at absolutely burying them - and either succeed, or leak goals like crazy.

the ball was smashed straight at kewell on the edge of the 6 yard box with no reaction time but he did move his arm away ever so slightly. but in slow motion it looked to have hit his bicep/chest area. maybe technically it was a red being last man, but then their player should have been sent off also 'technically'!

Japan - Schwartzer gets shoulder charged and Japan score.
Croatia - 2 yellow cards to Simic who gets to stay on the field until he gets a third.
Germany - Cahill red carded - BS decision
Ghana - Kewell red carded - BS decision

It pisses me off so much because the Aussie Joe Average will just turn off on football in Aus because of this run of bad decisions against us. The last thing we needed was some crooked Italian ref hell-bent on f**king over the Aussies.

The refereeing has been very ordinary at this World Cup, and not just in Australia's games. Harry desperately unlucky. Ghana very lucky not to also have a player sent off. Ghana unlikely to beat Germany .... unless they get another penalty !!!!! much improved performance from the lads. Arnold clearly not on Breschiano's Christmas card list.

Is anyone else heartbroken for Kewell? His last chance to prove himself on the world stage after a stellar career blighted by injury and some **** takes it way in a second. Is there a way the fans can contact him and offer their support? I have an unwavering feeling that he deserves that much and more from us right now.

There have been some shocking ref decisions. One of the lads will probably get a red against Serbia.... that will then make it three out of three.... honestly we have no luck.... The lads did show guts.
