I can see us winning against Serbia, but I'm positive we aren't going to thrash them like we need to in order to make the round of 16. At most, maybe a 1-0 victory. But if Pim is going to go all-out like I think he might, I reckon Serbia will get us on the counter-attack.

The best we can hope for is Ghana beating the Germans, which I think they definitely won't.

With the way our luck is going, Ghana will draw with Germany and make it virtually impossible for us to get through. I'm usually upbeat and optimistic about our chances, but I've been so bitter over our results in the last two weeks, I've become a shell of my former self.

Honestly the way this WC is going a Ghana win against Germany wouldn't shock me. In fact I'm hoping for it.

I'd like to see this line up

Schwarzer

Wilkshere Neill Beauchamp Carney

Valeri Culina

Emerton Cahill Holman/Bresciano/Chippers

Ruka

I'd only bring Kennedy on later as an impact player if we are chasing the game because he will be useless against the Serb defence.

Ruka's pace will trouble Serbia just like Podolski's did.

Four possibilities for this post:

A) Someone has hacked into your account.
B) You're hepped up on goofballs.
C) You've been humbled and embarrassed by France's miserable performance and you're trying to save face, pretending you loved Australia all along.
D) You're just taking the piss.

If we play like we played against Ghana we will win. But Ghana wont beat Germany nor will they get mual like we did with out Kloser to hold the ball up.

Thats my prediction im hoping Ghana get trashed they are a not worth a round 16 place imo

I have to agree with you on all your ponits but if we leave the WC with 4 points and dont make it to the round of 16 i'd say our boys did a good job. In 2006 we only managed 4 points and it was enough, at least we can say that our football is strong and 06 wasnt just a once off.

I also think we will gain alot of respect around the world more bigger and better clubs will buy/develop our players.

If you want my opinion Africa will lose a lot of cerdability post WC chances are no team but Ghana will make the next round. Asia will gain alot if Jap, SK can get out (and us pray) an AFC team will win the WC b4 an african team does mark my words.

To all those people saying that Ghana beating Germany is impossible. How many of you would have said Switzerland beating Spain would be impossible or for Brazil to struggle like they did against North Korea would be impossible.

It's a WC FFS anything can happen we should all know that from 2006. It's a funny old game football and I have a sneaking suspicion that Ghana can get a win(more blind faith tbh:lol: ).

All we can do is focus on beating Serbia because if we don't it doesn't matter what happens with Ghana and Germany.

One advantage Ghana has over Germany is that Germany played their opening two matches at sea level and Ghana will play all three group matches at altitude. This match will be at altitude so fingers crossed the Germans screw up.

I've got a bad feeling he will play Holman upfront.

He really should be starting with Ruka upfront and bring on Kennedy if we need to chase the game

Good news everyone :-"

Uruguayan Referee Jorge Larrionda will referee this one

wat i want. at least try to use our pace and counter properly. we would be such a better team if we did that correctly.

2nd half subs kennedy and chippers.

if we do the same as last game and attack straight away and get a goal then we will be ok. the longer without scoring the worse it gets. :(

Might as well go all out with a 433 TBH.

Then use the pace of Ruka and Vidosic against tired legs in the 2nd half.

no Culina?

Hes been solid during this WC. Doubt he'll get dropped and Pim seems to love him.

Assuming 4-2-3-1 because of Pims bad experiance with the 4-4-2

---------Schwarzer--------

-Wilkshire-Neil-Beauchamp-Carney-

--------Culina--Valeri-------

---Emerton---Cahill---Bresciano--

------------Kennedy-----------

If he wants to go more attacking take off Valari and have Holman start

Sub

Holman for Bresc when he gets tired
Ruka for Kennedy
Chippers for Valeri then move Carney up and have chippers at right back

Hopefully fresh legs of holman and ruka can get through the defence later in the match

Also Garcia didnt do to bad in the Germnay match so he may feature if Pim thinks hes attacking.

Subs: Bresc for Holman
Jedi for Culina
Ruka for a midfielder late on

Oh, and 3-0 Aussies - with Germany winning 3-0 as well and us going through.

I'd go for this lineup:

Schwarzer

Emerton Neill Wilkshire

Culina
Holman Bresciano
Carney

Cahill

Jesus
Chippers

Bring on Rukavystya later in the game for an injection of pace if needed,
sub on beachump and Valeri if we are in a position to go through and close out the game.
