craig moore to pim may be his most experienced def . pim also thought that a-league players wernt good enough to go to SA but yet herbert has gone to SA with 8 a-league players 4 of which played against 4 time winners and def champions italy and held them to a draw with chances to take the match . says alot about pim and moore.

He didnt fail to impress he played for the Olyroos instead of sticking with the Bermen. He was also linked to Bolton but he when h was inthe CSL but he sold out again.

What I find amusing about nearly every story relating to Australia progressing this week is it is almost implied or expected we will beat Serbia and it is teh other result that matters most. Wake up boys, Serbia are a very strong team that also just happened to beat Germany.

You know, i would of agreed with that when Leijer first went to England, especially circa 2008 during the Olympics in particular.... but his performances(or lack of) with Norwich pretty much explained why he was captaining Fulham reserves and not playing for the senior team.

He's not a bad player, but is a dog of a human being with an over-inflated assessment of his own ability.

He trialled all over Europe (including Werder Bremen, not Wolfsburg) and failed to impress everywhere he went. He was gifted recalls into the national team several times despite being horribly match unfit and without a club.

Ended up back at Newcastle with his tail between his legs before lucking out into the CSL.

Now he's in the J2.

Milligan sold out to asia he had a chance to play for Arsenal, Wolfsburge or Man city he opted for the dollars and played in the CSL and in turn he has become a dud playing in the J2 league and if we had a decent coach he wouldnt be in SA and Bonar would be.

Beauchamp wont replace moore he is too old. We are going to place players they have to be under 26 so they are at least around for the next WC, so teams like Germany dont just run threw them.

Beauchamp for me, usually fairly solid. Milligan thinks he is good but isnt.

Matthew Hayden much? quit while you are still good mate. you have been a great servant,but it is time to retire from the national team.

Beauchamp has to be favourite to take the spot.

Was best on group in the NZ game and was solid in the Denmark game.
