Personally, I think the "traitor" in the squad was Domenech. If it surfaced, and it would have, that Anelka had been sent home by the coach, questions would have been asked, and Domenech would have been the one with egg on his face, damaging what is left of his reputation. But if it was leaked to the media that Anelka had blown up in a big way, it transfers the blame over to Anelka.
