Pim Verbeek rating for this game: 8 (similar to his rating for Ghana)

Say whayt you like, but purely in rating him on this game, he has overseen one of the best victories in our football history

Our second win in a WC game ever. Against a better team than the Japan we beat in 2006.

And Pim's record as coach in the WC groups stage is the same as Hiddinks, in a group that was just as tough.

+1

I'd actually go further than that and say that this group was tougher than 2006 and our 2006 squad better than 2010..

Better than Japan and Croatia 2006, especially when that was also Serbia's best WC2010 performance.

That may have been the best performance i've seen by the roos, i'm super proud and actually shocked that we were cabable of such a performance..

How does a team that is far inferior in technical ability dominate and win like that?

Does anyone else think Jason Culina was our worst player in the tournament? One shot at goal in our last game doesn’t make up for a whole tournament of wastefulness and incompetency. The rise of Valeri and Jedinak means he is basically surplus to requirements. Thanks for the memories Culina but you have been very poor for over a year now.

Cullina - I'm a fan of his - leave him alone.

He played well - without brilliance for the whole tourney.
