Now that the Socceroos have bowed out with honor, who will you be supporting?
The poms? Ze Germans (so we can say we lost to the best team in the tournament)? Another Asian team? Any team that's an underdog?
have your say.

Would love to see the English go on to lift the cup. Also love watching Netherlands and Argentina. If England beat Germany, sets up a quarter final with Maradona. I think the tournament will really start to kick on now.

Italy (naturally), but if they play they way they have been the past two games, then theres no chance for them to progress.
Ill be keeping a close eye on Argentina as well.
I'm also rooting for England to do well, and for Rooney to find his touch.
Brazil can just fuck off.

I would like to see Rooney find his form and carry England through. Aside from that Chile has played some good footy.

Holland or Spain, think they are well organized with very potent frontlines. The South American teams pack a lot of punch, but look like a disaster waiting to happen defensively. Whoever win's it, I just hope that they play beautiful attacking football and not dour defensive dross.

Probably South Korea since I want an Asian representative to do well. Although I'll still watch plenty of other teams as well.

I think thats reason enough for not wanting to see them win! Would like to see South Korea do well from an Asian perspective they are a good side.

Sth Korea as usual (their my 2nd team) but the other ones fairly recent. USA! I think their the team left in the comp that are most similar to us in playstyle and attitude. I have also been impressed by Sports Illustrated's coverage which has been much nicer to the Socceroos than anything the pommy press or Goal has said. They panned us after the German result expressing dissapointment we were nothing like the 06 socceroos and hailed the fight back against Ghana and Serbia wheras the poms just focussed on saying how Ghana and Serbia bottled it.
