Nah, I stayed away from turrets actually, in favour of traps. Considered using them a few times, ended up not.

After coming out of the tele, go into the fire trap room and use the trap to kill a whole bunch. When thats done, run through the alley, dodging all the people who have spawned in there and run up the backroom and through it. Don't get too far ahead or you'll get button hooked (pinched) going down the stairs into the theatre. Run onto the stage, turn around and kill a whole lot as they stream single file through the doorway. When you start getting in trouble run back into the dressing room, up the stairs out into the first room above the stairs and use electric trap.

Of course, you only need to use both traps when you start getting to the really high levels. Sometimes I stop in the room above the alley and use the trap there, but unless you have the thundergun it's next to impossible to make it out of there once the trap is off.

Marconi - What's your record on Five? I got to 22 with a mate, but can't go further. We set up the DEFCON, then when we're about to get overrun go into the Panic Room. Wait for the defcon to hit 0, and then use winters howl to take the front door, whilst the other covers the two windows inside. But when it gets to the later rounds, you start getting overrun pretty quickly in there. Even PAPd HS10s or Ray Gun struggle to cover it.

If there's 3 or 4 of us in the later rounds, then 2 of us do laps around the map though the MP40 room, dressing room, etc after we've teleported up and made a few crawlers with grenades. The other person who has the Thundergun then just does laps of the stage gathering up as many as he can, then using it to clear them all when we've finished our lap.

A rule we have is that we only upgrade until round 28-30 otherwise we always run out of ammo quicker. Usually I'm the guy who gets the most points via RPK's and HK's and then uses that get monkeys, all the perks and to set off the traps, while the others are the kill whores with their ray guns.

On Five it's just a shitfight with all our attention focussed on getting in and out of the Panic Room

NBA 2k11 is bloody great, as far as I'm concerned. Took a while to get used to the controls etc, but once you do it's fantastic. And it looks great to my eyes!

I'm not good enough to test myself online, though - need quite a bit more match practice before that's gonna happen. :D

What's your strategy for rounds 25+? We generally do the loop - head to the small room under the stairs and fuck shit up with the fire trap, then when it gets time to go, run to the small room and use the electric trap. Blast your way out of there and out, loop around and pick off the remains whilst moving throughout the map. All of this is of course after waiting in the tele for as long as possible, then killing tons of zombies from the PAP room.

Pretty easy on single-player too. You need to buy a quick-revive. When he's about to come, go to the place where you started and wait in the elevator. When you see him coming, cook a grenade so it kills you. As you're reviving, you get Mustang & Sally, two M1911 pistols which fire rockets. Then just keep shooting him until he dies.

He's easy when you have teammates as you can set up claymores and then spam the fuck up out of him with HK's, RPK's, Ice guns and Ray guns

So my sister bought me the latest Need For Speed for christmas...I went to play it tonight but every time I put it in the drive, it turns a couple of times and then does nothing. Has anybody else had this problem with this game? Or other games?

Treyarch's Dan Bunting was a guest on the latest episode of the Major Nelson podcast and he went on to reveal the first downloadable content package for Call of Duty: Black Ops. "First Strike," as the new content is called, is a timed exclusive for the Xbox 360 and will be out on February 1 for 1200 MS Points/$15.

The pack will contain four new multiplayer maps and one new zombie map. The maps Discovery and Kowloon are based on areas from the single-player campaign, Berlin Wall is a map set at the famous Checkpoint Charlie in Germany and the best of the new maps is Stadium, set in a hockey rink/athletic complex. Yes, really.

The new zombie map is called Ascension and no info was really given on this map. Expect more news including screenshots in the coming weeks.
