Agree on Rodwell and Rose. Sturridge could also make the grade. Walcott and Wilshere should be good but who can tell and I like Johnson. I remembering watching Liverpool youth some years back and darren Potter stood out as a potential new Steven Gerrard but he has only found his level at Sheff Wed so you can't tell how they will turn out.

Mind you I also saw Alan Hutton for Rangers and thought he was useless but he has developed ok if prone to injury so maybe I have no idea

Also there are Wickham at Ipswich, Bostock at Spurs, Delph at Villa and Welbeck at Man Utd whom the managers all have big hopes for. Basically anyone with some pace would be good.

At present I think the most likely to be introduced during the Euro qualifiers will be Adam Johnson. Very technically gifted left winger, who just missed the cut for the Cup after having a fine stint with Manchester City after signing for them in the mid season window

Jack Rodwell in my pick to step up in midfield

In terms of 'youth' in it's true form (not 25, 26 or 27 year olds as the article has put in)

If Michael Mancienne gets a few more games with Wolves next season on loan from Chelsea, he may get a nod. Was called up for a training camp last year for England

Danny Simpson playing with Newcastle for right back, signed permanently for them after coming up the ranks at Man Utd, may get a sniff

Jask Wilshere is for the future, not just yet. He and Danny Rose will be coming up into the first team at their respective North London clubs and could be emerging for 2014 and beyond

The England under 17, 19 and 20 have made the European Championship finals in the last year, so there will be a few more heads popping up especially with the Premiership enforcing a home grown rule for this season onwards

Just not the same.

What do you think about the FourFourTwo article England's Future Stars??
FABIO Capello today named several players who did not play at the World Cup that he will look to in the near future.

Have your say.
