I was always concerned about it being in Africa for any reasons. I looked at going but decided against it for safety reasons. Tickets for locals are dirt cheap and still they won't go - I think that they got the local allocation % wrong, but as always Blatter will deflect the blame elsewhere. Why do we feel the need to have a new ball every world cup ? That ball has been one reason why we've seen less goals and less attractive football - good move FIFA. I just think that FIFA has misread or misunderstood the culture of the African continent - everyone hates the vuvuzela, but no-one seems to be able to come out and justify why they haven't been banned. 1 billion people will watch the final, I wonder how many of those TVs will be on mute ?
