I expected this to be an article about video replays being used in games and was going to post my arguement against it, but was pleasently surprised.

I for one have never been fond of waiting for replays without knowing the result, it doesnt have the same feeling as a live match does. So evidently, in following your theme, one of the first thing i have done each morning when waking up, and sometimes in the middle of the night, is checking live score.com on the iphone to see who won.

I must say too, that my plan to watch every minute of the world cup was spoiled not be deadlines, but by being burned staying up late to watch dour games in the early stages.
