Unbelievable. The Dutch did not handle the pressure of the match, nor their opponents. That they turned to tactics that sickened the world should not be forgotten.

funny how fifa is blamed for everything.

To most neutral supporters Holland's roughhouse tactics were to blame for a very ordinary and forgettable world cup final. Instead of complaining the Dutch should be apologising for killing the spectacle with their negative game plan that brought them undone in the end.

Johann Cruyff is a legend.

Going into any tournament, I alwys say "I hope hope Dutch win it", but they did not deserve to win this game.

To quote Michael Caine in that Austin Powers movie, “There are two things I cannot bare… Racial intolerance and the Dutch”.

Each side is to blame for the disgrace that was the World Cup final. Yes de Jong's 'tackle' was a straight red, but both teams played very dirty football and Spain are lucky they did not have more yellows than they got.

i hate it when the team you're rooting for does plays like that and you feel almost guilty for sticking up for them
