The winner of Blacktown vs United goes on to play Bonnyrigg while the loser goes on the play the winner of APIA v Marconi with the loser of that clash being eliminated.

Nearly every SydneyUnited and BWE fan acknowledges it was there fans who fucked up and this is why they're in the position they are you clue less fuck. But at some point the parent has to return the toy yes? And a few years is more then enough time!

Sudden death football is the order of the day this weekend as Bonnyrigg White Eagles and Sydney United go into battle in a last ditch effort to keep their respective seasons alive, and set up a grand-final clash with Blacktown City FC.

Blacktown City FC will enjoy the weekend off to accurately prepare the grand-final clash the following weekend, though there is no such luxury for the White Eagles and Reds.

Bonnyrigg coach Brian Brown has the big task of lifting the morale amongst his troops following a comprehensive defeat at the hands of Blacktown City FC last weekend. Played in-front of their home supporters, the White Eagles were handed a hefty lesson with a 4-0 defeat sending the side into an elimination play-off for the chance to reach the grand-final.

Brown will look at his big guns Brad Boardman, Daniel Severino and Jamie McMaster to lead the way against the Reds, with the side boasting a positive record against Sydney United in 2010.

Bonnyrigg grabbed bragging rights in both regular season clashes – a 2-1 win at Sydney United Sports Centre in Round 5 followed by a very impressive 3-0 win at home in Round 16.

With an elimination bout in store this weekend, these previous results will count for very little.

The Reds have lived a somewhat inconsistent run in 2010, in-terms of results, though David Zdrilic’s side have shown their ability to grind out results when the going gets tough. A fine show of their potential was demonstrated last weekend against A.P.I.A.-Leichhardt Tigers, where Luka Glavas and Zdrilic himself double-teamed the Tigers, ending the mammoth run of one of the competitions most consistent side’s over the second-half of the season.

Zdrilic’s side possesses a fine attacking third with the likes of Glavas, Elsid Barkhousir, Zdrilic himself and Petar Markovic out of midfield providing many options going forward.

The battle in midfield promises to be a real gem with Shane Webb and Milorad Simonovic performing consistently well for the White Eagles, meanwhile the Reds will be rock solid with Ivo Bosnar and the likes of Peter Zorbas and Steve Hayes more than up for the challenge.

With the season of both clubs going on the line, action aplenty is expected this weekend with both sides desperate to book a date with destiny against Blacktown City FC in the grand-final.

The Grade 20s at Lily Homes Stadium on Saturday at 5pm promises to also be a huge match as Blacktown City FC take on Sydney Olympic with the winner booking at ticket in the 2010 Grand Final at Parramatta Stadium against Sydney United.

Blacktown City FC and Bonnyrigg White Eagles go into battle for NSW Premier League supremacy this Sunday at Parramatta Stadium where the victors will take the title of Minor Premiers for 2010.

With these sides finishing first and second on the League ladder following the regular season, there could not have been a better scripted finale.

Aytek Genc’s Blacktown City FC enter the final coming off a weekend with no ‘serious’ football, even though the side has been working hard on the training fields in anticipation of Sunday’s final. Positive news for Blacktown City has been the return to full fitness of Tolgay Ozbey, the striker missed the recent 4-0 defeat of Bonnyrigg due to a hamstring injury, though has shown he is ready and up for the grand final match.

Genc will have captain Luke Roodenburg calling the shots out of midfield; the club captain has been instrumental in organising his teammates on the field, especially with the younger players in the group, and is entering his fifth grand final.

In the attacking third, Joel Chianese will have a licence to attack, with target man Tolgay Ozbey vital to his side’s chances of success. Ozbey finished the regular season as top goalscorer, and Blacktown City FC supporters will be hoping the marksman has a couple of goals to come in Sunday’s grand final.

Bonnyrigg White Eagles enter the grand final full of confidence following a rather impressive showing against Sydney United last weekend. Despite falling a goal behind after only 7’ minutes, and struggling to find their feet in the opening 15’ minutes, Brian Brown’s men turned it all around from the 20’ minute onwards, scoring three unanswered goals and putting together a very well polished performance. Milorad Simonovic’s marshalling in-front of the defensive line has the side in good order, as does the pace and ball skills of Jamie McMaster, Daniel Severino and Nathan Elasi going forward. Striker Brad Boardman will be the ‘go to’ man in the front-line, with the quick movement of Elasi and McMaster expected to cause Blacktown City some cause for concern.

Blacktown City FC hold a 2-1 head-to-head lead against the White Eagles from the three times these two teams have met in 2010. The two regular season encounters produced 2-0 victories in both matches for the home-side, meanwhile the recent Major semi-final showdown provided victory to Blacktown City FC 4-0.

In what is expected to be a fantastic afternoon of football at the very impressive Parramatta Stadium venue, supporters of both teams – and the neutrals – do get out there to see some fireworks on Sunday.

In the Grade-20 grand final, Sydney United play host to Blacktown City FC, with the latter hoping to make a winning start for the Blacktown club in this exciting encounter on grand final day, with kick-off set for 12:30 pm.

While at 10am the South Coast Wolves take on Sutherland Sharks in the battle for the Grade 18’s Grand Final.
