As I said Neil's blog, if we had a Brasillian signed but there was visa hold up, I'd imagine we'd have heard about it as we did with Angulo.

He was granted a work visa almost immediately and signed a contract for us, but was not allowed to register for competition as the contract was signed outside of a transfer window. pretty solid record in the serie b, 116 appearances with 36 goals and he did play in the serie a 23 times but didnt score...he is listed as a withdrawn striker though so maybe hes not an out and out striker. apparently did OK in the k-league so he should do alright in the a-league
