All this talk about us signing a Brazilian is ridiculous. Robbie Kruse got a Brazilian, that's all.

Robbie Kruse would never need a Brazilian.

As I said Neil's blog, if we had a Brasillian signed but there was visa hold up, I'd imagine we'd have heard about it as we did with Angulo.

Angulo was completely different. He was granted a work visa almost immediately and signed a contract for us, but was not allowed to register for competition as the contract was signed outside of a transfer window. If this Brasilian exists and it is VISA issues, then he hasn't actually signed as he cannot sign a working contract without, and therefore we are keeping the deal under wraps to prevent another team from beating us to it. Hopefully this all clears up as soon as possible. Ah ok. Well if this mysterious Brasillian exists, I would (Leandro)Love it if he turns out to be quality.

This is 100% real, all will (apparantly) be revealed tomorow.
This player is expected to put Melbourne and the A-league, well and truly on the map of World Football.

pretty solid record in the serie b, 116 appearances with 36 goals and he did play in the serie a 23 times but didnt score...he is listed as a withdrawn striker though so maybe hes not an out and out striker. apparently did OK in the k-league so he should do alright in the a-league

Quote:Melbourne Victory are reportedly set to announce the signing of Brazilian striker Ricardo Weslei de Campelo, also known as Ricardinho.
Sources suggest that the Victory will make the much anticipated announcement tomorrow and that the unnamed striker that has been rumoured to join the two-time A-League champions is in fact Ricardinho who most recently played in the K-League with Jeju United.
The 26-year old Sao Paulo native, who stands at 177cm and weighs in at around 70kg, has spent almost his entire career in his homeland before moving to Korea last year. Source; Tribal.
