To get someone that truly puts a huge amount of bums on seats he would have to be a previous legend with a big rep like Zidane, Beckham,Inzahgi or they would have to be a good premier-league standard player still in their prime and they would never want to come down under unless it was for amounts of money australian clubs dont have.

Chippers move to sydney would be great for Bling and his chances of more socceroos call-ups.

I think he is choosing not to play for the socceroos atm.

While the first statement is still true, i think that especially in the larger cities like Sydney and Melbourne the latter statement is more significant.
