Quote:Fulham goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer has verbally agreed terms with Arsenal, it has been revealed.
The London Evening Standard says Arsenal are considering making an improved offer for Schwarzer.
The Gunners had a £2million bid rejected prior to the World Cup but have made no further contact since.
Although Fulham insisted today that Schwarzer has not handed in a transfer request, the London Evening Standard understands the Australian has privately agreed personal terms with Arsenal and is desperate for one last season in the Champions League.
Fulham boss Mark Hughes still hopes to keep the 37-year-old, who is under contract until 2011, but an offer of around £3m could lead to a deal.
