WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

I bought alcohol for the first time today haha I was so scared/excited, but the guy in the bottle store was actually really really nice.

I'll be 20 in a few months and I've never bought alcohol. I'm too scared to go in a liquor store :lol:

I'm meant to be doing a 7km run tomorrow lol. I think not.

I've been 18 for 6ish months (wow, didn't even realise it had been that long) and I was terrified :lol: I felt like I was breaking the law, even though it's perfectly legal for me to purchase alcohol, but it's all good man, the guy at my local Liquorland store is awesome.

I didn't even buy booze until I was 21. Up until then I was just giving my flatmates the money if I needed it, which I very rarely did back in those days.

I'm a fucking idiot, my mum just found the Liquorland bag lololol.

Yeah, I get my friends to get it for me, and even then it's only if we're going away or we have a team party that I drink.

You're 18. WHen I was that age I was living in Canterbury away from my family, and went on holidays to England by myself.

Your parents have no right to get mad at you.

Everyone has different fears mate, however irrational.

I mean I spent most of my pre-20s being terrified of social activity.

Hey, my brother's 20, and I'm not sure if he's even tried alcohol before (he doesn't want to though).



My sister told her that we picked it up off the street to carry the bottle of coke that we bought home in, and she completely believed it :lol: I can totally act sober :cool: I don't think my parents would be too mad anyway, they're both pretty relaxed.

The 2 closest bottle-os to where I live are both in housing commission areas. There's drunks there all the time :lol:

Pfft, I've been known to drink by myself from time to time.

Love the buzz + not a drug person.

Now I just have a mental image of that one drunk person at parties that stumbles onto his mate, and proclaims there love for them.

That pretty much sums up drunk me :lol: When I got wasted at my mates party I kept telling her, and everyone else, how much I loved them and how amazing they all were :lol: That's how I'm an easy drunk :lol:

I've never had alcohol by myself, cus I know I would go all depressing and shit. I'll only drink with others around. I love being around the fun drunk people, and I have been known to proclaim my love to people whilst drunk :lol:

I see alcohol as a mood accelerate, not a mood changer. I never drink when I'm depressed because of that reason. i only tend to drink when I'm in a good mood.

For example, last time I drank alone was because I finished a painting that took 4 months. Great mood and sense of accomplishment stayed with me through most the night. As someone tht suffers from bipolar, it's a decent change from going from satisfactionary happiness to glum depression..

Though the mood changes I do have when drunk I put more down to the bipolar, not the drink :lol:

How else did you think I got to Wellington when the Sydney teams came over? With WINZ money? Good joke.

I stayed mates with my old art teacher and get some of my shit sold to students/staff members/whatever. The one I'm talking about got me around about 300 which covered flights easily.

Course I don't paint often enough to work full time :lol: That one was the first one I did in well over a year.

Every time I drink I'm always in a good mood to begin with, occasionally that changes and I go depressive, other times I stay in a good mood :lol:

Are you serious?! Wow! I wish I had some kind of artistic talent. How come you don't paint more often?

Procrastination, lots of jumping around countries, no free time, I don't rate my work much, I don't get many ideas.

Fair enough, that's really incredible though that you can create art good enough to sell, that must be a rwally rewarding feeling.
