16 to 20 it was a lot of spirits with mixer and pre mix. Then the taste for beer developed. Probably working in the English pub with the 1 pound employee point button spurred it on.

I didn't like beer as a young'en either. Salmon, I highly recommend Coopers, especially the sparkling ale.
My go to drink is gin, preferably G&T but on ice is good too. Tanqueray or Hendrick's with cucumber.
