when you have a deadline, like for an assignment. if it says due at 5, they not going to stop it at 4:59. they going to give you till 5:00 to hand it in. in much the same way, gooner got it in at 6:00. for all we know he pressed post at 5:58 or :59 and was on time.

its within the laws i feel. plus we have deals that go after the deadline in real life, so whats to stop this deal through. all the necessary paperwork was done.

The deadline was 6pm meaning that the market closes at 6pm on the dot which then in turn means any bids made on or after that time should be deemed invalid in line with the rules Afro himself set out.

I'll hear his argument, but as far as I'm concerned, I don't think there's any merit to it. There are sixty seconds in a minute, therefore, that minute can't be complete until :00. Therefore, Gooner's bid was still within the 59th minute of the 17th hour of Tuesday.

This whole transfer thing may take me a few days to sort out guys, my appologies but I've got an assignment I'm struggling with/procrastinating over/procrastinating over struggling with and I've got work training all this week until saturday.
