That was a quality showing by the Packers D. Lions look completely impotent without Megatron of course but a W is a W and that's now 23 years since Detroit have won in Wisconsin.
Terrell Pryor is in some fine form. Played another quality game against the chargers. No doube helped out by Phil Rivers throwing 3 picks. Almost as good as Eli Manning throwing 3 pick son 3 straight drives - doing thatagainst an Eagles D that's ranked one of the worst in the cop is just embarrassing.
Denver still playing like freaks. They could break a lot of records this season. Although having a draw strength of .430 is pretty pissant.
But the real talking point of the weekend is the Vikings coming back from the bye with a new QB. I really rate Josh Freeman and I think he can do huge things at Minnesota. He's a significant upgrade on Ponder at any rate, who throws like a poor man's Matt Ryan on a good day.

nfl.com wrote:Adrian Peterson's son dies; alleged attacker in jail One of Adrian Peterson's sons passed away Friday. The 2-year-old died of injuries from an aggravated assault on Wednesday, Sioux Falls police confirmed to NFL Media.
The accused attacker, Joseph Robert Patterson, 27, was charged with aggravated assault and aggravated battery of an infant in Sioux Falls, S.D., police spokesman Sam Clemens said. Patterson was in a relationship with the child's mother at the time, Clemens said.
In light of the boy's death, the charges against Patterson will be reviewed and additional changes might be added. Patterson is being held in the Minnehaha County Jail on $750,000 cash bond.
Clemens told NFL Media earlier on Friday that the child was in critical condition after sustaining head injuries that appeared to be consistent with abuse. Police did not name the boy, but Peterson and his father, Nelson, both spoke Friday about the terrible situation.
"Thank you to my family, my fans and fans of other teams for their support," Peterson wrote on Twitter. "The NFL is a fraternity of brothers and I am thankful for the tweets, phone calls and text messages from my fellow players. God Bless everyone and thank u so much."
Peterson missed practice Thursday, but the running back returned to the Minnesota Vikings' facility on Friday. He indicated to the media that he planned to play in Sunday's game. Peterson's comments to the media came before news of his son's passing became public.
"I should start off by saying I really appreciate all the support that I've been receiving from fans (and) the Vikings organization," Peterson said Friday afternoon. "This is a private matter, and I would ask you all to please just respect my privacy and not ask at all about the situation at hand. Thanks."
The news is absolutely heartbreaking. We send our condolences to Peterson and his family at this unimaginable time. Absolute tragedy. My deepest sympathies go out to the guy's family.

The packers outlast the Ravens 19-17. Holy crap the ravens played dirty. Lots of low tackles and it looks like they've probably ended Randall Cobb's season. Elam should have been ejected for diving with the helmet. With Jones going down injured too we've only got Boykin and Nelson fit at receiver and Boykin is arse. Might have to make a trade. Fortunately AJ Hawk played like a man possessed - 3 sacks and 10 tackes. The team finished with 5 sacks and a blocked punt. Great effort if they hadn't muffed the recovery of the punt.
Other than that Bengals got up in OT over the Bills, big game from Green. Detroit came from behind against Cleveland, Megatron was average. St Louis compounded Schaub's woes, extending their losing streak to 4. Kansas remain unbeaten against Oakland. Peterson looked out of sorts and Carolina won emphatically. Steelers got over a lacklustre Jets team. And Philly rolled the Bucs despite V-Jax hauling in 2 TD's and 116 yards - there was a pretty questionable DBC ruling in that game too.

Proud we took the Seahawks to 4 quarters in CenturyLink. Sounding like the reason we didnt win is the shocking offence, cant believe im saying this (but glad i am), we are really missing Jake Locker.

That game was over so quickly because it was such a run-heavy game. It was boring as fuck. That fumbled fumble was horrible too. 32 Rushes and 31 passes by Seattle.

Brady <3 Saints choked a bit though. I mean, Brady throws an interception with a few minutes left and the Saints up by 4. Tried to play conservative, but Chandler Jones came up with a massive play to bring down Brees. that final drive, Edelman dropped a couple he's been catching recently, but thank god we got there in the end.

I'm not one to give props to the Pats often but to hold Graham to 0 yards is a hell of an effort. The last time he went an entire half without a catch was against the Packers in Week 1 of 2011 so holding him down the entire game deserves props.
That Pats D is looking pretty damn mean this year. That pass rush of Jones, Hightower, Mayo and Spikes is intimidating. They just have to find something to compliment Talib & Arrington - there's so much space over the middle even Tony Romo could find his man.
There appears to be a bit of ill-will going on for the offensive side of the ball though with Gronk training all week and then not playing. They're going to have to deal with that ASAP (not that I don't think Belichick won't) and get him back in the action if they expect to make a serious play-off run with Amendola and Edelman leading the wideouts.
The other main talking point of the weekend is whether the Falcons (as they continue to slide) should return the favour and trade Tony Gonzalez to Kansas in order to give him some shot at a 'bowl in his final season. Kansas could probably use the added depth to their receiving corps but even then by the time a trade is viable will Fasano be back from injury? And are the Falcons ready to admit defeat in their season?

Saints have the bye which means Brees is on the bench and im starting Tony Romo. That could be both good and bad. Sitting Chris Johnson, been terrible recently and playing against the Niners isnt gonna help that, also hoping the Gronk is back this week, the Rams had 2 TE's score TDs on the weekend, and Cook wasnt one of them.

Pretty annoyed that the Saints have a bye so I have to play Jordan Cameron when he's up against the Packers. That said, we're so riddled with injuries that he could well put up some big yards.

That Packers run game. Another good victory to take us to 5-2 and some very winable games coming up too.
How about that performance from Megatron though?! 7 yards shy of breaking the single game receiving record.

Nick Foles. 22-28. 408 Yards. 7 touchdowns. Take a bow son.
Also, Pats offence (finally) clicked tonight, Brady currently 22-33 for 400+ yards and 4 touchdowns. Over 600 yards of offence total.

Huge final Quarter from the Pats. Big performance from the Eagles too. Not so sure about playing them in 2 weeks now.
Brees had a shocker against the Jets, Redskins look like they're clicking into gear, Bucs choked HARD.
In 5 fantasy leagues I've scored a total of 3 TD's this week (Still have Forte and Rodgers to come in most of them). Shocker.

Fark, Rodgers out of the game with a shoulder injury and our backup is Seneca Wallace. Run game needs to step up big time.

That was just horrible to watch. Seneca Wallace is terrible. We're going to get destroyed next week by the Eagles if Rodgers can't play.

Definitely better than Wallace was today. Although Wallace has never had a first team snap in training or otherwise.

Shit. Quote:GREEN BAY, Wis. — Aaron Rodgers has a fractured left collarbone and the Packers’ franchise quarterback doesn’t know how long he will be out. More definitive scans today but initial tests showed small fracture in Aaron Rodgers' collarbone that could sideline him about three weeks.
Rodgers offered details of the injury Tuesday on his weekly radio show on 540-AM ESPN. The 2011 NFL MVP was hurt after getting sacked by Shea McClellin on a third-down play during the Packers’ first series while he was scrambling outside the pocket. He hurt his left, non-throwing shoulder. "I do have a fractured collarbone. That’s a significant injury," Rodgers said. "We’ll know more about the severity and the timetable later this week."
Packers QB Aaron Rodgers won't require surgery for fractured collarbone. Source says plan to is let heal, treatment, hope he plays again RS
Rodgers said he was holding out hope he would heal quickly. "In this case, it was considerably more pain than I’ve felt in a long time," he added. Rodgers got emotional at one point during the 15-minute appearance when he described the reception he got from fans as he walked back to sideline in green warmups in the third quarter. "We put our bodies on the line. We do it because we love this game. But when I walked back out on that field — I’m getting a little choked up here just thinking about it," Rodgers said, "that was one of the top five moments of my career there." Rodgers is the Packers’ Mr. Reliable. Since taking over for the equally dependable Brett Favre in 2008, Rodgers has only missed a game due to injury once — on Dec. 19, 2010, for a concussion. On a team that has been rocked all season by injuries, Rodgers had been a constant and the Packers had reeled off four straight wins despite being without top players like linebacker Clay Matthews (thumb), Randall Cobb (leg) and Jermichael Finley (neck). Losing Rodgers might be the most devastating blow of all. The 27-20 loss to the Bears left Green Bay in a three-way tie atop the NFC North with Chicago and the Detroit Lions, who were idle last week. The offence now falls into the hands of backup Seneca Wallace, who finished 11 for 19 for 114 yards and an interception. The Packers host the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.

Given Wallace's performance on MNF, expect to see a frantic phone call to Matt Flynn (more likely) or Vince Young (less likely) - guys who know at least parts of the play book and can actually make plays with this offence.
We added Jermichel Finley to the season ending IR yesterday but took the opportunity to activate Sherrod, which doesn't look good either after what happened to Nick Collins. This season's gone ka-fluey :(

Well, we can kiss this season goodbye. Unless we some sort of incredible run when Rodgers returns. Not sure why we are asking our 3rd string QB to throw 38 times.

Because we were behind and needed to move the ball quickly. Frankly, we got dicked over hardcore. That was really, really unlucky we didn't pick off that first Eagles TD. Losing our second string QB and having to go with the third choice was woeful. And that Nelson TD with 6 minutes left should have stood. Packers season is done for. All these injuries is ridiculous. Hopefully Wallace being injured means we'll cut him and bring back Young.

Both Jacksonville and Tampa Bay won this week so we've got no team that's winless now.
