Quote:The Packers should put a roof over Lambeau. Stadium is too big. They'd have to do a complete rebuild. Quote:But I am getting a little ahead of myself. Packers-Bears will be epic. Here’s hoping things go to plan. The defence puts pressure on Cutler, so that he reverts to form and self-destructs, and the offence holds onto the ball. The Bears love forcing turnovers. We lost to the bears in Chicago in week 3, 20-17. But we were still reeeling from the loss of our first week starters and the team hadn't clicket yet. We weren't in the form we're in now. Our defence was terrible in that game, Cutler threw for half the completions that Rodgers did. When the pressure was on in week 16, Cutler didn't really turn up at all, he only threw 168 yards. I think if Matthews or Woodson can nail Cutler early then he'll drop back more and more and hav a quiet game. Packers' biggest problem is going to be over-confidence after we beat the Falcons so convincingly.

He hasn't lost an indoor game since the start of last season. He's just SO accurate, when there's no outside influences there's little that can go wrong. Pity Chicago's home ground is open to the elements. Pittsburg have a good side, Roethlisberger is very talented and a constant threat, and Arnaz Battle has been a good pick-up for them this season. But if Sanchez and Holmes continue their form there's going to be little that can stop them. I'm backing a Packers v Jets Superbowl.

LOL, just watched the replay of Jets-Patriots and the look on Brady's face in the last quarter was priceless.

I'm going for Green Bay for the remainder of the season, but I think that Pittsburgh will edge it in against them in the Bowl. I'm not sure, I'll have to tell you what I think after the Conference Championship games.

Yeah, the saints performance was woeful. I find it comforting that the Bears conceded so many points. Wish the bears played at an indoor stadium, we'd be home and safe already :P Packers haven't lost an indoor game all season.
Current Superbowl odds: Green Bay 2.50 Pittsburgh 3.20 New York Jets 4.25 Chicago 5.25

Meh, the Seahawks aren't that good, as their 7-9 record would suggest. Last week was an aberration caused the the combination of a massive home ground advantage and an over confident Saints. The Bears are good, but Cutler tends to fall apart if he's put under pressure. Matthews & Woodson won't be giving him as much time and space as the 'Hawks did. I was thinking about asking for Superbowl Monday off, but I don't want to jinx it.

I love the fact that Packers have beaten all the remaining teams this season :P A game against the bears should be very interesting, on current form we can beat them, but they played well against Seattle.
Jets did really well there, I thought the Patriots were going to steamroll them again but there you go!
Jets v Steelers will be interesting. Santonio Holmes playing against his old team (where he won a 'bowl).

NFL is infinitely better when you've got someone to discuss it with. And that was a great game to talk about.

afromanGT wrote:That. Was. Epic.
We fumbled the first play, we conceded a 102 yard return...and still got up 48-21. Aaron Rodgers was amazing. 136.8 rating for Rodgers is huge 366 yards. Clay Matthews stood up this week, two sacks. 5 sacks, 2 interceptions and 4 fumbles from defence was fantastic. Probably the best our defence has looked all season bar that big return. Congrats mate. Enjoyed discussing it with you

Falcons are 2 from 2 on the third down, frustrating start but not a disaster yet.
Yeah, I saw the panel's picks on Fox. Aaron Rodgers is a real indoors QB. Hasn't lost a game in an inddors stadium this season. Mind you, Falcons have only dropped 1 home game all season.
Punt coming up. Rodgers chance to show what he can do.

afromanGT wrote:Steelers just too good. Flacco's recievers choked hard in that last minute and a half, he shouldn't have kept throwing for the 30 yard pass. Telling stat that Flacco only threw for 16/30 and 125 yards despite having the ball for longer than the steelers (19/32 for 236).
Now for the big one COME ON YOU PACKERS!!! I think the Packers can cause the upset and get up tonight. Will be tough against the Falcons though. Did you see that the NFL on FOX guys picked the Packers to win? Apart from 1 i think
